The Mandalorians and Rakatan are white flagged also.

Cosmetically I think you guys need to vary the civ colors a bit. Lots of yellows in text and red in borders.
 
And I agree with whomever suggested swapping out fish, clams, whales, ect for Moons. THat would be awesome to have 4+ different kinds of moons "orbiting" the land masses. To these you'd send a workboat to extract some resource.
 
Don't forget about the multiplayer bug when creating units :). Just re-posting to make sure this gets seen. It's more important to me then typos :)
 
Looking at these horses makes me want to turn them into Tauntauns (sp) somehow and then allow for riders. :)

Same with Elephants. Isn't there a SW creature similar to that to train and ride?

Is there a way to make it so all of the planets are circles, or elipses? I also love the moon idea for sea resources.

How 'bout a Rancor for an animal? Capture for Rancor fighting pit, or something.

What mods have you created? What contributions have you made to the community? If you feel you could work better and faster, then by all means I challenge you to do so.

You should respect Civmansam and the Star Wars crew for what they've done. Civmansam began a mod that nobody else has, and slowly by slowly it will get better. You can help by making suggestions, not by shitting on his mod.
 
Dont let it stress you, I get the occasional "your mod sucks" pm or post too (I just forward them to woodelf). There are just some people that are never happy no matter what you do, and dont seem to realize that all of these mods are being done for fun, in the authors free time just in the hope other people will enjoy them.

Even with mods I don't like I am deeply appreciative of the modmakers for taking the time to make them. But this mod is very cool and will only get better. Heck that at-at model alone makes this mod awesome! (man I wish i could sneak an at-at into ffh :D ).
 
well, after some thought, i suggest that this mod need some help to make it faster. At least teach these guys that don't know some things so that the next patch be better then this. the reason why i flamed is because whoever made this mod is quite slow and did not put a lot in this mod that i was expecting, he should of made thid mod around 85% but though he did so little just to raise it 5% up. So i just got to recommand someone who knows a lot about star wars and know about modding to help this guy out to make this mod much better just like Fall from Heaven, Sevomod, and Civmore.
 
I realize that the mod was not something you wanted and maybe it is going a little to slowly. Maybe we do need more modders. But as Shqype said, it gives you no right to troll and flame at us. Instead, next time you should give some constructive critism to make the mod better. If you don't like the mod then don't play it. But please try not ruin some one's hard work.

On a happier note, what changes should I plan for the next version? UU's or Jedi?

It is nice to see someone liked the moons idea. I like the banthas idea as well. But the cows should be "Nerfs." I remember they were in "Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrouds" But I don't know where my copy is. If I find it, I will try to poke around and find a picture (Unless someone else knows where there is one).

Another thing is the "Jet Fighter" is an actual jet. Not sure if there is a way to make that a person or not... Just a thought.

As for Rancors... They could be barbarians.... Just a thought again.

Jail could be a "Sarlac Pit." What better way to "control your people in times of war" than to have the threat of being dropped into a Sarlac pit. I know I would behave. LOL

Unique Units should be the air units more than anything. If I play Rebels, I would rather fly an X-Wing over a Tie Fighter. That also would allow for the Y-Wing Bomner and Tie Bomber.

Shuttlcraft could be the Imperial Shuttle . That would make more sence than the Tie Interceptor... Again. Just a thought (I seem to have a few this morning LOL).

The Death Star could have an extensive build time (Say 100 turns regardless of where it is built) and should be a world wonder that only allows that one city to create Nukes.

There need to be wonders and "Jedi Temples." The inability to distribute the ideas of the force as you want to, makes all the religion aspects of the game pointless. Priest could be Padawans. Unable to fight, but with the ability to spread the concepts. After so many temples are built, a World Wonder of a Jedi or Sith (I know there are supposed to only be two Sith) Council could be built. This would in turn allow the builder access to the most powerful units the game should have.... Jedi Masters and Sith Lords. There should be a way to enable one culture to NOT be allowed to build both wonders. Don't know how. Like I said I am not a modder.

The lack of ability to adjust culture levels makes developing Techs too fast. I had them all well before I finished the game.

I do like where this mod is heading and I hope you find some of my suggestions useful.

I hope this is not at the bottom of the page so the modders also get to read this. That took a while. LOL

I hate bottom of the page posts! I feel I always get ignored, or maybe just Kael does that to me. ;)

There is a need for some more buildings early on, but other than that I'm enjoying it (after nerfing the Heavy Starfighter and Gunship). I don't think you should ever have a tech that gives the player nothing either. Throw a building, unit, resource, something onto each one.

So how many people are currently working on this mod? It's coming along well, but now I think you need the community to give CONSTRUCTIVE ideas, not flames. Let us know what you're lacking; be it buildings, civics, ect. I think you already did, but keep after us. :)
