I changed character creation rules to simplify things.
Character creation is a bit more involved than fill-in-the-blank. Party members have stats that you must assign. In this section I will describe how you go about assigning stats and I will explain what each stat does below. So, by default characters in your party start with a base of 5 per stat - this stat allocation describes that of an average person. From there, you can "buy" higher stats using points. Each character has 10 points to spend - place them anywhere to "rank up" in that stat. You may "dump" a stat to a minimum of 1, however, no stat may go less than 1 - even after racial modifiers, with the exception of droids. So if a racial modifier would lower a stat less than 1, you have to go back to the drawing board.
There is no emotion, there is peace.
There is no ignorance, there is knowledge.
There is no passion, there is serenity.
There is no chaos, there is harmony.
There is no death, there is the Force.
Party Name: Traitor's Retinue Starting Planet: Naboo Party Size: 4 Party Affiliation:Confederacy for Life! (All 45 to CIS)
Party Leader: Reflet Ju
Party Controller: Reflet Ju
Party Manager: Lady Regna of Gehenbar
Spoiler:
Name: Reflet "Reffy" Ju (The Traitor) Race: Human Class: Ex-Jedi Stats:
Background: Born on Alderaan, Reflet was, like many Jedi, an infant who was given up to the Jedi Order when she demonstrated Force sensitivity. As a Initiate, she was considered a sort of a problem Younging. Although perfectly capable with the force and a lightsaber, the Masters were worried with her hetrodoxial views on the nature of the Force. Reflet has Potentiumesque view that there is no "light" or "dark" side of the Force, but merely the morality of the practicioners themselves. She had no desire to study the dark side of the force, like most Potentiums, and thusly narrowly avoided being branded a heretic (Some say her natural charm helped as well). However, Reflet found that no Knight wanted to take her as their padawan, even though she passed the Initiate test with flying colors. Thus, it seemed that she was going to be regulated to the Jedi Service Corps.
Then Geonosis changed the political landscape of the Galaxy.
Knowing they needed as many future knights as possible in the upcoming war, Jedi Knight Dona Dum decided (or some say conscripted) to take Ju as her padawan. Dona was in many ways a terrible match for Reflet; Dona's unquestioning acceptance of orthodox Jedi dogma frusterated Reflet, who saw her in many ways a symbol of how out of touch the Order was to the modern Galaxy. Reflet's more emphatic approach to solving conflict also made her study the ideals of the Confederacy, in order to better combat it. However, reading the Articles of Secession and other Confederate treatsies made her start to agree that there was a major problem with the corruption in the Republic, and the Order being its military arm to enforce the status quo.
Therefore, in the first mission against the Sepretasts, Reflet decided to run away from her Master and defect, an action which earned her the reputation of "the Traitor". Persona non grata in Republic space, and not fully trusted by her new Confederate allies (nor respected, as she was barely a padawan), Reflet struggled in her new role as a vanguard within the droid armies. The now Grey Jedi served with distinction in Dirge's Lance, Grevious's campaign in the Inner World.
Reflet would later be protecting the Separatist leaders in Upatau when the Republic began its counteroffensive against the Confederacy. Reflet fought with valor, but was unable to prevent Grevious's death at the hands of Obi-Wan; she was too preoccupied with fighting a contigent of clones nearby. Naturally, nothing special happened when Order 66 was declared to Ju; the Cofederate droids obviously never attempted to purge their ally. However, a nasty rockfall knocked the Grey Jedi unconcious for almost ten years.
She would awaken when a team of Rebel excavators unearthed the area to scavenge for parts. Reflet was suprised to learn that the Confederacy was still alive; the disaster at Upatau should have spelt the doom for the fleding government, but political chaos due to Order 66 resulted in a civil war on the Republic side, and apparently a new fourth faction in this political mess. Not having any quarrel with the Rebels, Reflet allowed them to scavange the droid remains, and travelled to Geonosis as quickly as possible, where the next stage of her life would start...
Background: Vulc Prome has never experienced peace in his lifetime. Born on the Confederate capital of Raxus Secundus in 22 BBY, he just barely missed the cut-off before the Battle of Geonosis. Yet, in the middle of core Confederate space, Secundus was never really under any threat of invasion, and Vulc had what would be a cushy, if eventually war-based, childhood.
Vulc's mother, Luca, was a capitalist, running a droid construction company known as Prome Industries. Prome Industries would be one of many minor corporations that joined the Confederacy, and would be one of the many factories that produced battle droids for the droid armies. When a child Vulc was starting to show an aptiude to tinkering with objects, his mother made sure that his talents would be applied towards the family business.
Under the supervision of Luca, Vulc was sent to the factories to apprentice under the best mechanics under her employment. There, Vulc helped to streamline production of battle droids, learning how they are made and ways to cut down costs while still making effective units. When years of sustained conflict made fielding all droid armies impractical, Prome Industries output fell the least of any plant in the entire Confederacy.
Now an adult, Vulc has started to draft plans to modernize the B1 after 20 years of service. According to his schematics, the technical superiority of the B2 is countered by how more modular and cheaper the B1 system is, thus making a B1.5 more efficient than a B2.5. Initial blueprints attracted the attention of the Duke of Gehenbar, and he invited Vulc to the desert planet of Geonosis to start initial prototypes of the 1.5.
However, the freighter Vulc took had a warp drive malfunction, and he entered out of hyperspeed within the rings of Geonosis. His ship collided with rocky debris, forcing him to eject into the harsh wastes outside of the spires. With how deadly Geonosian wildlife is, Vulc was extremely lucky to crashland in remains of the battle older than he was. Using his theroies to the test, he cannibalized usable parts of super and regular battle droids to create something even greater: the world's first B1.5.
After the droid demonstrated its prowness by protecting Vulc from wildlife and helping him locate food and water, the Duke unexpectedly showed up, claiming that the entire crash landing was an intentional test on his part to see if Vulc actually was as good as he claimed.
Now, he claimed, he wanted to see the droid perform in a real combat experience. The Duke said he wanted him and his droid to go prove itself in neighboring Naboo, which was under a second invasion by the Confederacy. If it works, he'd consider buying a contract for a personal droid army.
"Have you heard of the legend of the Traitor Jedi?" The Duke asked.
Background: MAC-10 is the protype produced by Vulc during his crash landing on Geonosis. A frankenstein construction of various droids that fell in battle during the invasion of Geonosis, MAC-10 combines the superior (and integrated) artificial intelligence of the B2 Super Battle Droid, but the chassis of the B1 series, which allows MAC-10 to specialize in many different roles other than a regular rifleman.
However, Vulc wanted to do more than just to create a better model for mass production. This protoype was, in his mind, special. After he was brought back to the spires once his first field test was over, he worked on intentionally giving his droid a mind and personality of its own. Reading on the disastrous (now first) Battle of Naboo and how the invasion was stopped simply by deactivating the droids, Vulc concluded that the only way to make a droid army effective in the long term is to make each one as independent as possible while still being effective. Therefore, he wanted to create a battle droid which was, essentially, an independent entity, that could fight on its own.
Hence, MAC-10 as a "person" was born shortly before being shipped out to Naboo. Adopting a female personality, MAC-10 was given almost unrestricted personality matrixes; only a few prime directives governing what she isn't allowed to do
SpoilerPrime Directives :
0. I will never attack a non-combatant.
1. I will, without reservation, protect the lives of my creator, his friends, family, and allies, excepting when it would break Rule 0
2. I will protect the integrity of this unit by any means possible, unless it violates rules 1 and 0.
3. I will uphold the ideals of the Articles of Secession and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, unless it would come to conflict with rules 2, 1, and 0.
4. Be Polite, excepting when it would prevent the application of rules 3, 2, 1 and 0.
5. Be Efficient, ignoring when it impedes rules 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, and 0
6. Have a plan to kill everyone I meet, excepting when it would violate rules 5, 2 and 1.
Hencly, MAC-10 has become an efficient soldier, polite in her demenour, but almost nothing more than a walking gun. It might be a while before the true potential of this sub-experiment takes hold...
Spoiler:
Name: Lady Regna of Gehenbar Race: Geonosian Class: Medic Stats:
Background: Lady Regna is one of dozens of many children of Zantos, the Duke of Gehenbar. Gehenbar, the traditional capital of Geonosis, has been on a decline; the hive now controlling the Archduchy of Geonosis is Stalgasin. The legandary Poggle the Lesser controlled the Stalgasin hive and by extention all of Geonosis; his low-born statue being the source of contention to the old nobility such as Zantos, who would love nothing more than to depose him.
At seven years old, Regna was barely considered an adult by Geonosian society when the Republic invaded the planet. Like all the aristocrats, she was expected to command a unit of Geonosians during the invasion. Regna was handed control of only a company (under her father's command, of course) due to her lack of experience, but served admirably all things considered.
While the attack on Geonosis made a hatred of the Republic a common belief among all Geonosians, Regna channeled her anger at intense studying of the political machinations of Confederacy. To her disgust, she started to realize that, while ther rhetoric was justified, the actual result of the Confederacy was slowly becoming a plutocracy of the privileged elite. This wasn't what the rebellion was supposed to be about, to her.
She became endowered with the legend of the Traitor, a Jedi so disgusted with the Republic and the Jedi order, that she decided to defect and fight for the Confederacy. This was almost unthinkable, considering Dooku by all accounts was at least a Dark Jedi, if not an outright Sith. Yet, she never fell astray from the light side, despite Republican propaganda claiming otherwise. It gave Regna hope that the Confederacy did, in fact, have a chance to becoming what it claimed it was all along. Eventually, she would die on Upatau, and Regna swore that she would work on continuing her legacy in the political sphere.
Unfortunately, Regna didnt really have any room to do so. She wasn't the first born in the family, and even if she was, she was a female in a patriarchal society. The best she could do was to forward money towards charities to veterans of the Geonosian invasion, and make choice public appearances and speeches to inspire the lower castes of Geonosian society.
Ten years later, Zathor finally feels he has managed to weave the political situation in Geonosis against Poggle. He heard rumors of a young genius inventor on Raxus Secundus named Vulc Prome, who was planning on launching an upgraded line of the battle-tested B1 battle droids. If Prome was as good as the rumors claimed he was, Zathor knew he could use the human's models to make an army that could take on Poggle and give him control of the entire planet.
Meanwhile, Regna heard rumors of the Traitor resurfacing on the planet of Geonosis. The Geonosian noblelady was ecstatic at the possibility of her idol surviving, and attempted to hunt her down herself. When she managed to make contact with the Grey Jedi, Regna was shocked to find the actual ex-Jedi, looking for a source of employment. The Geonosian knew what she had to do not just for her idol, but as a way to increase her own power. Regna convinced her father that the droid inventor should have a bodyguard in a conflict zone in Naboo, and that money couldn't buy a better one than the Traitor. Then, Regna also mentioned the need of a family representative to make sure the two didn't run off and sell the plans to the Republic, and that she was more than willing to take up the task. Zathor realized her daughter's craftiness, and gave his blessing for his daughter to join them to Naboo.
In a burst of cronau radiation, the small shuttle reverted back to realspace. The shuttle was carbon-scored, and smoke wafted from the port engine. The shuttle shuddered visibly before the engines flickered to life.
“Rwarrararagharrwar. Rworrr.” A wookie hunched over a bleeding Besalisk roared.
“Master Krall’s not going to make it!” Jedi Knight Atasy yelled, pushing his way towards the cabin through the small crowd crammed into the shuttle.
“We’re not Kriffing going to make it unless we get back to hyperspace! Wrench, take General Andarion and see if you can get that hyperdrive up and running.” The clone in the pilot seat bellowed at a clone with a tattoo of a wheel on his seat. The clone, Wrench, saluted, and, grabbing one of the crying padawans, scrambled towards the engine bay of the ship.
The lights in the shuttle flickered, and dimmed to a dull red glow. “Frak frak frak FRAK!”
“Are we followed?”
“I don’t think so, General Shar, but I’ll feel alot safer once we’re a jump or two away from here.”
“Shar, Relic, we need to figure out what’s going on, and with Master Krall as he is, we’re the senior knights.”
“Indeed, Aara. The question most pressing on my mind is that of the clones. Why did they turn on the Jedi?”
“Order Sixty-six, ma’am. Orders came in from the chancellor himself, declaring that the jedi had turned traitor against the republic. Regulations state shoot to kill.
“Gotta Admit it sounds possible, what with Generals Krell, Bulk, and that “Traitor” running around.”
“ but you were a bunch of younglings and archaeologists, not real Generals, battalion chose to take arrest you.”
“What about your orders.”
“We’re soldiers, sir, not butchers. Besides, we’ve fought with you for years, now, you are out brothers and soldiers in arms more than some politician.” A second clone, Patches, spoke up.
“Exactly. So, the 789th agreed to round you up, turn you over to the proper authorities.”
“But you helped us escape, you’re piloting a ship to take us to safety.” A Fosh, Knight, Gerbeir, shouted from the back.
“Well, once we got back onto the holonet, when we saw the news, some of us got to thinking that what was happening wasn’t too right. We fight for the Republic, not some Empire. That doesn’t mean we fight for the man in charge, we fight for it’s institutions. Course, not everyone agreed.”
“It’s bad when brother fights brother.”
Both clones tilted their heads in sorrow.
“So, you got us out.”
“That’s right. Heard about the massacre at the temple, and the boys and me realized that there was no trial waiting. The republic was gone. So, here we are. What now, Master Jedi?”
“Couldn’t you have gotten our lightsabers back, though?”
“It was the sabers or you, and we figured you could....”
A howl of sorrow erupted from the back.
“Master Krall is gone.” Whispered Padawan Orgey.
“So many deaths. The force is screaming in pain.” Shar spoke softly.
“First order of business is getting someone safe. Then we recoup, figure out what to do.”
“Indeed. The Galaxy has forgotten why it needs Jedi. We will wait, and one day it will remember.”
Present Day - Tatooine
“Orgey’s group’s missed it’s second check-in...” Patches stood on the windswept ridge with Knight Atasy.
“That’s not good. I... felt Knight Orgey’s passing this morning, but I... I hoped. I hoped the rest would have gotten out”
“We’ve lost so many, sir.”
“Too many” A new voice, identical in sound to Patche’s but different in inflection spoke up behind them.
“Far too many.” Agreed the Jedi
All three turned towards the cliff, where the names of the fallen had been carved from the stone, and bowed their heads.
“Is it time yet?” Relic asked “There’s only Me and Patches, now, of all my brothers, and you and the wookie and the witch of the Jedi.”
“There will be more, Relic, that is the will of the force.” All three jumped as a soft voice.
“But who’s going to find them?”
For a long moment, the Jedi woman gazed over the dune sea, seeming to focus on a single point, far across the dunes. “Us. The time of the temple Jedi has passed. The time of the Knight-Errant has returned.”

Spoiler:
A native of Asation, Sothyk'K was born to the Operator caste, seemingly destined to mindlessly work complex, unknowable machinery for his entire life. However, while most Gree in the dying Enclave were content to allow their minds to wither and to live like simple animals, Sothyk'K was blessed with the radical desire to actually do something with his life. At first this manifested itself in attempts to become a medical guildmaster, however the jealous hoarding of knowledge by the existing guildmasters and grandmasters stymied his efforts at every turn. It took several years before he finally realized that he would never be able to realize his dreams if he remained among his fellow Gree, but once he did, he left the Enclave for Sernpidal. From there he purchased passage to the world of Lorrd, renowned as a great center of learning, and enrolled in the University of Lorrd.
SothykK excelled in his studies, and graduated with full honors. He applied for a job at the Galactic Polysapient Medical Center on Alderaan, and made a name for himself with the innovative and novel treatments. His peaceful life was shattered, however, when the Talortai crime boss Vukcas Dastot and his gang broke into the facility and held the top doctors hostage. Dastot was suffering from an extremely rare viral infection that interfered with his species natural regenerative capabilities and caused necrosis of the lungs, and the Galactic Polysapient Medical Center was one of only a handful of facilities in the entire galaxy that was equipped to treat his species. Two doctors were forced to attempt treatment- and were executed when they declared it impossible- before it was SothykKs turn.
The Gree worked tirelessly, seeing the crime lord and his illness more as an interesting challenge than a threat. His unique Gree thought processes allowed him to see patterns and consider concepts that had eluded his colleagues, and following an experimental treatment he informed the crime lord that he should be good as new within four standard months. Dastot, who needed a new medic for his organization and wished to keep the Gree close so that he could punish the tentacled alien should his promise of recovery not pan out, forced SothykK to accompany his group when they left Alderaan. SothykK remained with the Talortais organization for some time and gained a reputation as one of the best underworld doctors. SothykK was more concerned with solving medical mysteries than he was with doing things properly or legally, and actually came to enjoy working under Dastot more than working at the Galactic Polysapient Medical Center, as he could try things now he never would have been able to then, and- so long as he remained on Dastots good side- need never fear retribution or lawsuits in the event of a failed treatment.
About two years after being recruited by Dastot, SothykK accompanied the Talortai to Trandosha; Destot had been contacted by a Trandoshan ganster named Smosto who claimed to have a very profitable business opportunity for the Talortai. Things seemed to be going well, and eventually Destot let his guard down a bit about Smosto; this turned out to be a mistake, as Smosto was actually a false identity; the Trandoshans real name was Usok. Years earlier, Usok had been captured by Destot during a hunt, zeroing his jagganath points. The entire operation was part of an elaborate ruse to kill Destot, thus redeeming Usok in the eyes of his goddess and restoring his jagganath points. Now, SothykK liked working with Destot, but not enough to die for the fellow, and when Usok started gaining the upper hand SothykK turned on Destot, injecting him with poison of his own creation, custom-made to incapacitate Dastot, which he had prepared years earlier so that hed be able to defend himself in the event Dastot grew tired of him. Once under the effect of the poison, Dastot proved easy prey, and Usok killed him easily.
SothykK had been cultivating goodwill and loyalty among Dastots followers for some time, and was confident that, so long as it was never discovered that he was responsible for the Talortais death, he would be able to acquire a good chunk of the organization for himself. In particular, he was very good friends with the smuggler duo Glooscap and Gul, and while Dastots lieutenants preoccupied themselves with fighting over the organizations scraps, SothykK quietly consolidated his power. Before he was fully in control of the organization, however, the others discovered his efforts, and turned their followers against him. The resulting chase culminated in an extremely violent skirmish aboard the space station Solar Diarch, the result of which was the death or incapacitation of almost everyone of import in Dastots organization and the destruction of the station, with SothykK, Glooscap, and Gul barely escaping on the smugglers ship, the Tispy Trianii.
Now without much in the way of power, the trio turned to mercenary work, taking jobs wherever and for whomever they could. They were present during the Battle of Malastare, in the aftermath of which they encountered Usok again. The Trandoshan mercenary had been left for dead by his employers after sustaining grievous injuries, and while Glooscap and Gul wished to kill the Trandoshan to avenge the death of Dastot, SothykK saw little point in wasting the reptilians talent. Knowing that, like Wookiees, life-debts existed in Trandoshan culture, SothykK nursed Usok back to full health, and Usok swore a life-debt to the Gree, naming him his ghrakhowsk.
Their next job took the quartet to Ithor; several Ithorian priests and scientists had disappeared in the course of investigating the sudden savagery and voraciousness of the jungles that covered the northern continent of the planet, and so the herdships put out a general call, promising generous pay to any who could determine the cause of the investigators deaths. After two unsuccessful weeks on Ithor, SothykK and his party encountered a feral, force-sensitive Cerean named Cho-Lin-Gwong. A mere padawan when order 66 was issued, Cho barely managed to escape the clones wrath by stealing a ship, however, not being very familiar with the operation of the ship, she crash-landed on Ithor after an embarrassingly short chase, and her clone pursuers, believing it impossible for her to have survived, broke off pursuit and reported her dead. Cho survived, but skirted dangerously close to the dark side, and years of isolation had steadily worn down her sanity; the new aggression of the jungle was due to the unconscious influence of the Cerean. SothykK was captured by Cho-Lin-Gwong, who intended drain the Grees life with the force, but, seeing her extreme mental degradation as an exquisite challenge, SothykK carefully pulled her back from the brink of madness. The Cerean released the Gree and stopped corrupting the jungle, but now that she was herself again, she felt lost and purposeless. When SothykK and his companions left Ithor, Cho-Lin-Gwong invited herself along.
The most recent job taken by the group brings them to the hotly contested world of Naboo, where CIS and Republic forces clash continuously while the other powers send agents to undermine both sides. While running the blockade that surrounds the planet, the Tipsy Trianii was heavily damaged, and crash landed. Miraculously, nobody aboard was hurt, but Glooscap & Gul's beloved smuggling ship was damaged beyond repair.

Spoiler:
Born to a pair of slaves on Nar Shaddaa, Glooscap spent his early life the same way everyone else who grew up on Nar Shaddaa did- he stole, lied, and cheated his way up and down the grimy layers of the city world. Clever and dexterous, but lacking in physical strength, he put his Xexto instincts to good use and outwitted or outmaneuvered the various thugs and bullies who populated the world. At the age of 14, he participated in a game of Huttball, where his skill and antics carried his team to victory and caught the eye of the observing Talortai crime lord Vukcas Dastot. He was purchased following the match, and thereafter served as a favored gladiator of the thug.
When Glooscap was 17, Dastot was betrayed by the Ruurian Q.W. Svelt, who lured the crime boss to Malastare while simultaneously informing the 1024th Company stationed on the planet of the Talortais location. The troopers moved to arrest to criminal, and after a short but brutal gunfight, Glooscap blasted out of the planet by the skin of his teeth on the TL-1200 light freighter Tipsy Trianii, Vukcas Dastot in tow. Deciding that he could make more money off of the youths flying skills than he could off of his combat skills, Vukcas put Glooscap in charge of the freighter and started using the Xexto to smuggle goods from planet to planet.
Glooscap had a moderately successful career as a smuggler; he was a better than average pilot, certainly, but nothing mind-blowing, and often ended up succeeding on his runs not by outrunning his pursuers, but by sweet-talking and tricking them. He became very skilled at sounding like he knew what he was talking about and pulling off Balmorran fire drills. During one particularly memorable incident, convinced a Harch bounty hunter after him that he was actually the bounty hunters long-lost brother disguised as a Jedi, and convinced the Harch to loan him enough cash to get back on his pedipalps to boot.
While running spice to the ecumenopolis of Christophis, Glooscap encountered the Sluissi mechanic Gul Mtendere playing sabaac in the spaceport cantina. Glooscap, loving all games of chance, bought in as soon as possible, and was running up several thousand credits when an inebriated Herglic accused the Xexto of cheating and attempted to violently eject him from the cantina. In the chaotic firefight that ensued, Gul and Glooscap ended up using the same table for cover, and found that they worked quite well together. Once they got to safety, however, they discovered that several pieces of valuable technology had been stolen from Guls place of lodging while she was out gambling, and the Tipsy Trianii was missing from its berth. Pooling their resources, the pair trawled the criminal underworld of Christophis, eventually discovering that notorious Squib thief Expialidocious Supercal had stolen both Guls technology and the Tipsy Trianii, and that he was heading to Falleen.
Taking Guls ship- the Gymsor-3 light freighter Engineers Folly- the duo followed the Squib, and, after a series of highly improbable misadventures on Falleen, cornered Expialidocious and defeated him in a firefight, reclaiming their stolen goods. While exchanging farewells, the conversation somehow turned to esoteric sapient species, and Glooscap offhandedly mentioned that there was a Gree in his employers organization. Gul, who had always been fascinated by odd technology, became ecstatic at the prospect of studying the ancient, eldritch technology of the reclusive race, and immediately sought employment with Vukcas Dastot.
Glooscap and Gul quickly became inseparable, and Guls phenomenal skill with technology coupled with Glooscaps quick wit and quicker draw ensured that soon they were the most successful smugglers in Dastots employ. Gul got her chance to speak with the Gree- SothykK- and, while disappointed to find that he didnt have any of his peoples technology with him, became close to the betentacled alien nevertheless. The smuggler duo were enjoying the benefits of their job when Dastot was assassinated by a vengeful Trandoshan, and the Talortais organization erupted into a virtual civil war. The two smugglers backed the Gree in his attempt to subdue the other lieutenants and become the man on top, but a series of wrong moves united the remaining high-ranking members of the organization against them, the end result of this was the near total destruction of everything Vukcas Dastot had built when the space station Solar Diarch exploded- with the Engineers Folly still aboard.
Now without any underlings to boss around or much in the way of credits, the three founded a mercenary company- the Iridescent Polyhedron- and went from world to world, selling themselves to the highest bidder and profiting off of the war. The three gained numerous contacts among the Hutts, the Rebels, and the CIS in the process, but generally avoided both the Imperium and the Republic for their humanocentric policies. Their little group picked up two new members- the Trandoshan who assassinated Dastot and a manic-depressive Cerean Jedi- and their most recent job has seen the group stranded on the war-torn world of Naboo following the destruction of their beloved ship, the Tipsy Trianii.

Attention all players, stats descriptions have been updated to better describe their uses. I highly recommend looking back at them to have a better understanding of what each stat does.
Also from now on, we will use the estimated rise of the Imperium and splintering of the Galaxy as Year 0. This corresponds to ~20 BBY. The game starts in the year 18 AGC (After Galactic Collapse). This is the canon term for the date.
Use the same racial stat modifier as trandoshans for Barabel, however, Ssi-ruu I'm going to have to say no for now. You could possibly recruit one later on.
Party Name: The CIS Scum Starting Planet: Tatooine Party Size: 5 Party Affiliation:
CIS: 20
The Hutts: 15
The Galactic Empire: 10
The Rebel Alliance: 0
The Republic: 0 Party Leader: Bork Na'um Party Controller: Urgrgrgrgh Party Manager: Bork Na'um
The Scum Themselves:
Bork Na'um Smooth Operator, Smug Grinner, and Intergalactic Ladies Man
Background: Silver tongued and cunning like many of his people, the Bothan Bork Na'um has never had time for anybody but himself. Attaching himself to the CIS at the start of the Civil War, who he thought were the rising star and the inevitable victor, Bork spent the Civil War running guns and weapons to CIS operatives across the Rim and charming his way out of trouble. With the fraction of the Republic, suddenly the CIS might survive, and Bork smugly pats himself on the back for his prescient choices as he leads his crew to further money and further conquests.
Background: Urgrgrgrgh is Bork's loyal bodyguard, muscle, and box mover all in one. Bork picked up the Wookie on a visit to Kashyyyk, running from a jilted ex-lover and saving his life. Unfortunately, neither Bork, nor anyone else in the Scum, speak Wookie, and thus nobody knows his true name. Luckily, Urgrgrgrgh can communicate very effectively through pointing. Urgrgrgrgh has undying loyalty to his friend and boss, and the two have saved eachother's life on many occasions - though Bork's main interest is to continue to have the Wookie around to save his skin.
Background: Llr is the pilot of the Scum's vessel, the Incontinent Gungan. Bork picked Llr up when the Sullustan needed aid paying a vast gambling debt to a Hutt crime lord on Tatooine, a problem Bork and Urgrgrgrgh solved in exchange for Llr coming to work for him (also the problem was solved through violence). Needing a skilled pilot, Bork took him and his ship, and now Llr plies the galaxy and, to his immense annoyance, deals with the ship's maintenance. At least he has his trusty droid, F2-U2, to help him.
Spoilerequipment :
CDEF Pistol
Simple Clothing
3 Personal Resource Harvesters
Background: Click-Click is Bork's personal Destroyer Droid, purchased at great cost from the Trade Federation and shipped from battlefield to battlefield for missions. Wielding powerful blasters and a strong shield, Bork's foes soon learn to fear its ominous click-clicking noise.
F2-U2 is Llr's astromech droid, a plucky little droid that aids him in piloting the Incontinent Gungan and doing emergency repairs. The Scum have learned to love the small droid as it rushes from place to place along the ship, beeping wildly. Perhaps this is helped by none of them speaking droid - only Llr knows how foul mouthed F2 actually is.
I had an idea for a party, but it looks like we have an overabundance of CIS scum already so maybe I should think of a backup. Also, how 'serious' do you want roleplay to be?

To be honest there is a distinct lack of Imperial and Hutt symps, so there's that.
I want roleplay to be thematically correct, as if this were a big legitimate story about Star Wars. However, that's not to say we need to be up-tight. Lighthearted RP is fine, but RP that breaks canon is not.
Party Name:Lima-202 ; "Marauder Squad" Starting Planet:Coruscant Party Size: (5) Party Affiliation:The Galactic Empire (40) ; The Galactic Republic (-0) ; The CIS (0) ; The Hutt Cartels (5) ; The Rebel Alliance (0) Party Leader: TK-105/1 "Noble" Party Controller: TK-105/1 "Noble" Party Manager: TK-376/2 "Pike"
Spoiler:
"Stormtrooper Squad n.202 "Lima" does not, at least on any official imperial record, exist. They are an elite "shadow" squad of exceptional soldiers whom have been readjusted into Imperial-sanctioned assassins and saboteurs, taken off-grid, and given the muddy task of taking out high-profile political targets that oppose the empire's interests in the galaxy, as well as evening out the odds on battlefields through unorthodox black-flag operations, unrestrained by imperial regulations and code-of-conducts. Some of these objectives include kidnapping, extortion, blackmail, sabotage, terrorism and murder.
Noble was born into a family of imperial nobility on the lush and peaceful planet of Carida. Spending most of his youth attending pro-imperial gatherings and being submitted to the "Imperial Youth" program, he saw fit to join the Military Academy of Carida to properly join the empire's military arm and serve the interests of his nation, barely passing through his cadet-phase's harsh and unforgiving training program, at the age of nineteen. Serving the planet's local stormtrooper garrison, Noble made a name for himself by managing to expose and eliminating Carida's number one most-wanted spice smuggler; "Kaydd Tuvale", and a majority of his cartel. Despite being severely injured in the ensuing battle, he was granted several cybernetic prosthetic limbs to carry on his dedicated service, having proven himself a useful military asset for his superiors. After the events at Carida, Noble was popped up to acting squad leader of Lima-202, where he and his men toured throughout the outer-rim systems to crack down on rebel insurgencies, cartel smugglers and dissident factions.
However, Noble's success with Lima would not last. During a "search-and-rescue" mission on the planet of Sullust, Lima squad had been tasked with locating and "rescuing" the planetary governor's daughter after word had reached imperial high-command that the governor's political views had become overly pro-republic. Despite effortlessly gunning their way past local security forces and into the governor's villa, Lima lost the girl to an unknown group of rebel-hired infiltrators, which not only cost them the empire's leverage, but also five platoons of stormtroopers; as the villa was rigged with explosives. The ensuing blame fell on Lima, and many demanded their immediate execution. However, an unknown and powerful figure in the empire had other plans for Noble and his squad, deleting them from the empire's register and making use of them in the empire's more shady endeavours. Whilst Noble remains grateful for being allowed to serve, he often feels that he and the rest of Lima have been forcefully placed on a much darker path than he could've possibly imagined, putting his faith in the empire to the test.

Name: TK-376/2 "Pike" - Party Manager Race: Human Class: Commando
Born and raised on the capital world of Coruscant, Pike was quick to be absorbed into the affairs of the galactic empire, much to the dismay of her lowly, pro-republic merchant family. Attending an imperial academy and making it through basic training as a trooper, she was selected for the stormtrooper corps for her combat and leadership excellence. Being shuttled to the planet of Carida, Pike found herself thrown into the very militaristic heart of the imperium she served, with thousands of faceless soldiers training by her side in daily, grueling routines, honing their already deadly combat skills. However, among the many there was one whom stood out - Noble. He had recently attained the mantle of responsibility as a designated squad leader, and Pike looked up to him as a true leader, having watched his potentials during the simulations.
Pike did not hesitate when she volunteered for Lima-202, where she proved her worth on many fronts. Eventually, she and Noble became close friends and brothers-in-arms, to such a point where Pike found herself stepped up as Lima's very own XO, Noble's left hand. Whilst she remains loyal to the empire, Pike finds it increasingly hard to confront Noble's actions when they contradict the empire's interests, which may be due to her latent feelings "beyond friendship" for him, not only as her leader, but as her ..

Name: TK-109/3 "Knight" Race: Human Class: Commando
Knight is considered an oddity in Lima squad. An urchin from Tatooine, he spent his youth in the criminal underworld as a thug for one of the more low-profiled gangs that roamed the city of Mos Eisley, making a name for himself through stealing and shaking up the local citizenry, all the while evading imperial security forces. A huge brute of a man, his strength was unparalleled among his peers. His physique even gave him the title of "The Hairless Wookie", much to his dismay. Of course, Knight's criminal endeavors would eventually come to an abrupt end when he was captured by imperial forces during a raid on the Mos Eisley cantina one faithful day. However, his ability to take down a squad of stormtroopers and his grizzled physical form allowed him two options: Permanent mining service on Kessel, or service in the imperial stormtrooper corps. Knight was no fool, of course he'd choose the latter above slaving away on some god-forsaken rock in space.
The imperial training program was rigorous and merciless, almost costing Knight his life during a live-fire exercise when a cadet on the other team had set his weapon-mode from 'stun' to 'kill. The event cost him his right eye and two right-hand fingers. Robotic prostethics saved him and kept him combat effective, and the situation was deemed a "weapons malfunction" and an accident. Imperial intelligence officers were never able to locate the stormtrooper in question after he had mysteriously vanished from base camp one night. Knight still carries one of the cadet's teeth on a necklace underneath his bodysuit. Whether command knew or not, they did nothing - and Knight soon found himself in Lima-202, serving underneath Noble, whom he thought of fondly as a younger brother.
A native from Cloud City of the planet of Bespin, Shield spent his time as a paramedic for a local hospital. Times had been rather dull, but the amount of injured were always on an all-time high from the gas extraction industries. Things didn't exactly go any better when the empire suddenly arrived with a fleet of star destroyers and occupied the city, resulting in a decrease of cases of gas poisoning and a dangerous rise of deaths by blaster fire. Of course, crime dropped almost instantaneously, which Shield was overly grateful for. In his time under imperial rule, he would find himself more and more pressed towards serving the empire's interests on a military level, however, as the rising threat of rebel insurgencies had not only caused the destruction of the hospital he worked in, but had forced the empire to tighten their grip around the city, choking it as punishment for the rebels' actions.
This brewing hatred towards dissident factions caused Shield to eventually join the imperial army, and make his way through to become a field medical officer in the stormtrooper corps on Carida, where he was placed in Lima-202, under Noble.

Name: TK-661/5 "Castle" Race: Human Class: Commando
Born to a family of lower-city police enforcers on Coruscant, Castle lived out a meager and harsh existence. Cartel thugs around every corner with an addition of overly-zealous rebel terrorists made life tough for him and his family, even more so when both his mother and father were killed during a shootout outside an InterGalactic bank close by his home. With few to none friends to speak of, and with a growing self-loathing at not having been able to do anything, Castle sought out a career for himself in the imperial army, hoping that would be the push of authority he needed to ensure the protection of others, and order. Though barely making it past basic training, Castle was called in for the stormtrooper military academy on the planet of Carida, mostly on behalf of his great physique and potential with the right amount of training.
Surely enough, Castle passed through the program, but not without hardships. He had been psychologically tortured into efficiency by his commanding officers, and beaten down into a pulp whenever he had failed his task. This caused a minor psycosis to grow in him, forcing him to never give anything but his all. Even at the cost of his life - he would persevere and finish the mission flawlessly. This trait saw him brought into the folds of Lima-202, under Noble. He didn't get along with Knight very well, due to his criminal background, but his need to maintain his efficiency keeps him occupied, at least most of the time. The two are always bound to bickering during their spare-time.
While I like where you're goin I'd like to see background stuff before I officially approve anything. Stormtrooper armor and E-11's are a step above the starting gear.
