Why do I have the feeling that almost everyone is waiting for something huge, and that actually, it will be a mere minor dlc ... ?
I'm telling y'all, bison shaped maps with random interiors.

I'm convinced it will just be all the games and dlc bundled into a Gold Deluxe Super Happy Kawaii Desu of the Year Edition

Yeah, I feel kinda the same way right now, @KingOfBigOz. Though I still like Civ a lot, I haven't been playing non-modded games as much of it of late because there's really no new stuff. If only Firaxis would give us a blurry photograph of some new feature to speculate on...
Also, Paradox just totally upstaged the Conquest of the New World scenario with their new expansion for EUIV...
If EUIV wasn't that difficult to get a handle on to understand the games I'd probably be playing it xD

Bison DLC does not refer to a compilation because DLCs always add "something", i.e new content. And compilations are nothing more than games packed together for less.
I don't expect anything as big as Expansion Pack (and quite frankly I want one but doubt one will come)
What I DO hope is that it's new civs.
We still have no idea about the "Deluxe" Conquest of the New World scenario that we had a sneak peek at before BNW was EVEN released.
And It would be nice if Hitties and Sumeria were also released as brand new civs.
Overall, I actually need new toys to play with, Civ 5 no longer gives me that big of a joy...
I feel the same way ... I do hope for an expansion, but I really don't think so ...
And I's also love sumerians and Hittites (and Khmers. Specially the khmers !). However, I hope that they don't put Gilgamesh as the sumerian leader again ... He was a legendary leader, not really an actual one. Just add Ur-Nammu or Shulgi, who actually existed for sure and had great deeds.

But so is Dido, isn't she?![]()
She seems real enough from sources* I've found.
*Totally not Wikipedia.
If they still stuck to Gandhi, chances are, we'll see Gilgamesh.
I AM surprised Sumeria isn't in Civ 5 yet... I mean think about it... Sumeria is one of the regular civs int he series (Civ 3 and 4 at least).
Imagine if it was just a TF2 hat which wouldn't be listed there but sure it's funny to think about.
