Update Thirty-Nine 900ad.

The Carthaginian navy sunk, the Egyptian open yet another front on the Libyan coast by landing an amphibious assault. The beachhead is taken, and further orders are needed. The resistance is harsh, as many Carthaginian soldiers are being recalled back to Carthage. The Egyptian offensive in the north is going to plan, but the plans to cut the Carthaginian supply routes to their invading army went down the drain. The supply lines are completely guarded. After constructing a small flotilla in the Nile, the invasion force spread northwards and occupy the heart of Egypt. The whole of Lower Egypt is in Carthaginian hands – the most populated part of Egypt. Only the powerful city of Thebes holds out from the Carthaginians with a garrison of Sumerian troops.

Mongolia collapses! After years of stress, mutiny, plague, corruption, and weakness, the Mongolian empire could not take the invasion forces, despite the overwhelming support. The government within has crumbled as people rise up in the streets of the small cities to declare who their loyalties go to. Even cities who were fighting on the side of Mongolia has gained land as the people in those Mongolian provinces wished to belong to that nation.

China is continually advancing on it’s fronts as the army is determined for the Chinese cause. Plus, the Chinese forces are the most trained and numerous in the world, as well as the fastest builders. Using fortification after fortification, the Chinese have built hundreds of rows of fortifications that they continually fall back on when they are pushed back, thin out the enemy, then advance again. The Chinese have actually advanced into Pacific land.

The African colony in South America was given unwanted independence, and was soon gobbled up by the natives wanting their land back.

Scotland becomes a Republic! Free elections (for land-owning males, of course)were held for the first time in the new capital of the new nation of Republic of Britain in London. The King was sent to a small island outside of the European seas for the rest of his life. The first bill past was for freedom of expression, and the second was a bill to give indigenous peoples of British colonies the same citizenship as Scottish.

The Russian fleet finally makes it to Africa, and an amphibious assault follows just west of Carthage. The assault was a complete success, the Carthaginians are panicking with the war becoming so close to home.

Pacifica understand Medieval Age technology.

Britain has withdrawn from Africa Union.

Another front is opened in Carthage by the mighty French armies. The French are among the most adept in fighting within desert climates (besides Egyptians, of course), and soon gain more land then the rest of the European invaders.

The Egyptian capital was under seige, luckily the Egyptian Pharoh had retired to the city of Kharatoum in the desert highlands of the south and was perfectly safe. Looking at the situation maps the Pharoh exclaimed. ' We must caputre their capital before they capture ours!'

The army was ordered to march and soon the Carthigian people will know the might of the Egyptian Empire, its army and most of all the valiant navy of the Nile.

Which was just as well as the navy would soon need to liberate the Nile River and the heart of Egypt from the evil hands of Carthrage and Hannibal the Barbarian.

To Sumer, Greece: I ask for your help agasint the Carthigians occupying the Nile. Can you join with my forces and help destroy these evil barbarians.

The Sumerian war machine had marched into Egypt, and for the first time not to conquer another land. They were quickly detached to fight the Carthaginian meanace. The Caryhaginians though were soon to beat back both the Egytions AND Sumerians. Luckily the Sumerian army was able to hold Carthage at Thebes. More soldiers would be sent to help immediatly.

Many now wanted a bigger and better Army to help fight. The King ordered up the construction of the Grand Sumerian Army Acadamy to train officers and help strengthen the Sumerian military. The new acadamy would be in Assur, the former capital of Assyria.
