Suggest your own world wonders, natural wonders and city-states

I thought about a new City-State mechanic.
How about the Charrua as a city-State.

Charrua was a free nation from nowadays Uruguay who never acept civilized influence, they are considered exctint since ~1830.
This guy in this video give a cool argue why they aren't exctint

Based in this guy interpretation of Charrua I would sugest a city state who never settle their city.
Or maybe it can settle just in late game as Montevidéo.

Culture City-State
Suzerain Effect
:
Eventually spawn a unit called Gaucho
Gaucho have 4 movement, 2 range 30 meelee 40 ranged atk. It also receive +10 against Horse units.

Historical Background
The Gauchos was a mix race between Native Americans and Iberic-Europeans in the Silver Mesopotamia.
Today's Gaucho understanding change between Argentina and Brazil.
In Brazil Gaucho is everyone who born in the Rio Grande do Sul state, and this State have a strong German/Italian heritage (And also was a independent State for while, as Texas).
In Argentina Gaucho is a country side cowboy.
But, in both, there is a thing called CTG (Centro de Tradições Gauchas), where the people go to dance and be proud of their Gaucho heritage, the most comum name for a CTG is Charrua CTG.

Yakutsk

Mines and quarries worked by citizens have +1 production. Diamond mines have double yield.

I think the game lacks modern wonders in the sense of "modern architecture". That's why I'd like having buildings such as:

Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater
Mies van der Rohe's New National Gallery
Le Corbusier's Villa Savoye
Gropius' Bauhaus School
Salmona's Torres del Parque

Three of those are UNESCO World Heritage Sites and the other two are national monuments in their respective countries.

They could be included as wonders for the modern/atomic eras. I'd be happy with at least one of those, as well as an overhaul of the current city-center buildings in the more recent eras of the game. I'd also be happy if at least one of them appears as a Great Person, though Alvar Aalto's inclusion is something I appreciate as well.

Also
Notre-Dame de Paris
Neuschwanstein
Alcázar de Segovia
Borobudur
The Statue of Zeus
The Great Mosque of Isfahan
Empire State Building

Honestly they can just fill the game with Frank Lloyd Wright buildings as far as I'm concerned, but I'm not sure there aren't copyright issues.

Talking about modern architecture, some of Oscar Niemeyer's works could serve as a modern wonder. He is considered one of the major figures in the development of modern architecture and has collaborated in several works around the world, including the headquarters of the UN in NYC.

I'd like to see a modern scientific museum. I particularly liked the design of the ArtScience Museum in Singapore, it'd look great on the map. But would be nice to know more suggestions about scientific museums.

Also, I think that would be cool having an ecological wonder, something like a big garden or similar. It'd be an excellent very late diplomatic wonder. I can't think of anything about it right now.

As far as looking nice on the map the National Museum of the American Indian would be incredible. Maybe rather specific, though.

I guess the BEST Niemeyer's Wonders is MAC (Museu de Arte Contemporânea)

It can give +4 Tourism bonus if fill of your current age Art, but when you advance in the era you lose this bonus. You need to always have your current age Art,

By the way, Rio de Janeiro have their our own 7 World Wonders, just in this picture I can show 2 of they.
Behind we have the Sugar Luft - Pão de Açucar. Our Natural Wonder.
It can be made a improvement on it, the Teleférico, give 4 Tourism for it.

Also can have Palácio da Ilha Fiscal

Just can be build one single island title, it give +4 amenity to this city.

I've been thinking, we have two wonders of entertainment, one from the early game (Colosseum) and another from the late game (Maracanã), I thought that the game might need one for the middle of the game. I initially thought of a Mesoamerican gaming arena, but I think it would be redundant with the Aztec Tlachtli. So why not a Spanish bullring? As I'm a big fan of Spanish culture, I would love something like that in the game. The Real Maestranza in Sevilla is considered the most traditional bullring in Spain and is where one of the best known bullfighting festivals in the world is held.

Real Maestranza
Military Science
Must be built on a flat land adjacent to an entertainment complex with arena.

+5 culture
+2 amenities
Cities that have at least one source of cattle worked receive +1 amenity, increases to 2 if the city has an arena.
Receive 4 cavalry units with free promotions when completed.

I think that it would be great on map:

Here are my world wonders ideas, they are a lot, it doesn't seems that I want to see all of the ingame, I just think this wonders are good candidates. These have been based on ideas that I've found in the forums, already existing mods and my own original ideas. I don't claim any right over this ideas, so anyone can use them for their own proposal or mod developing.

Also I think it would be nice to have an option for removing certain wonders from a particular match so that selected wonders will not be available to build in that specific match. This feature will allow for more custom and personalized games.

Mount Rushmore
Hadron Supercollider

but mostly I would like to suggest that wonders offer 2 or 3 strong benefits that once completed you must choose which one you want. Also, I think the Colossus (as any wonder) which is an early game wonder should perhaps change the benefit it offers throughout the ages if built at a later age.

Messeturm
Must be build next to the city center.

Effect:+5 Gold. This City generates 1 Tourism for every 5 GPT it generates.

reflecting how Frankfurt Airport is one of the busiest in the world just because there is business to be had.

I'd like the Golden Temple to be included. It's a temple gilded in gold in a lake. It's pretty. It's a place for food and healing so I guess something linked to that for a simple bonus. Or for something more complex, it was built as an alternative more "power to the people" political centre vs Lahore (hence the focus on food, healing, education etc. as more legitimate uses of political power), so perhaps its bonus should be more akin to making the city it's built in somehow more buffed like a second capital (and it cannot be built in a capital).

I want the Louvre Pyramid back.

Louvre Pyramid
+3 Culture
4 Slots of Art
Artwork in this wonder recieve +2 more culture and tourism. +40% total when themed.

Isn't it under copyright? Also wasn't it extremely controversial in Paris?

Eiffel Tower and Centre Pompidou used to be extremely controversial as well.

The original Louvre building dates back to the reign of Phillip Augustus but isn't what most people think of when they think of the Louvre.

New Wonders

I won’t hide the fact that I was disappointed with the new wonders that were recently released. I think there were much more interesting options. I compiled some ideas that have been floating around in my head for the past few months.

Apologies if there is a Western bias. I was more interested in the gameplay mechanics than in the wonders themselves, so there may be better choices out there.

Rani ki vav – Allows this city to construct one more specialty district than usual, and specialist slots in this city are automatically filled at no cost.

Available with engineering; Must be built adjacent to a river; Cost of 400

Fort St Elmo – Able to perform ranged attacks and garrison a unit; the strength of the ranged attack is equal to that of the city center +10; units within the borders of this city receive +8 combat strength when defending.

Available with Castles; Must be built adjacent to coast; Cost of 710

Castello Sforzesco – The player who constructs the Castello Sforzesco is allowed to propose one of the first two resolutions presented in the world congress; however; the same resolution cannot be proposed consecutively.

Available with Diplomatic Service; Must be built adjacent to the Diplomatic Quarter; Cost of 920

Frauenkirche – The player who constructs the Frauenkirche is allowed to select any additional religious belief (non-Tier 3 building) that has not yet been chosen by another player.

Available with reformed church; Must be built adjacent to a Holy Site; Cost of 1060

Versailles – Versailles allows districts in this city to have an additional two specialists, and the yields of all specialists are doubled; carries a malus of -8 gold per turn.

Available with Diplomatic Service; Must be constructed in the capital city; Cost of 1060

San Antonio de Valero – Annexes the next 10 tiles (if unclaimed) and allows this city to work, improve, and build in one additional ring of hexes beyond the norm.

Available with Cartography; Cannot be constructed on the same continent as the capital city; Cost of 1060

Neuschwanstein – Adjacent tiles receive +2 appeal; all tiles in this city with breathtaking appeal receive +3 production and +5 gold

Available with Civil Engineering; Must be constructed on a tile with charming appeal or better; Cost of 1240

Other possibilities: Wonders that provide a unique governor or tile improvement, wonders that affect other civilizations?

Such as -25% tourism from other civs, -50% religious pressure from other civs, -2 amenities to foreign cities within x number of tiles, etc...

Bringing back an old one:

Hoover Dam-Unlocked with Electricity. Provides power to all cities on the same continent as it. Must be built adjacent to a Dam district.

This might be a good one to have in the game again, now that Dams are a district.
