What makes the civ name change between 'Korea' and 'Joseon'?
'Cause if it's the medival/renaissance eras, I think the state religion (Korea if Buddhism, Joseon of Confucianism) would be much more appropriate.
Also, how about:
If age<=medival & capital is Pyungyang: kingdom of Goguryeo
If age<=medival & capital is Sangyeong or somewhere close (northeast to the Baekdu Mountain which is depicted as a peak in the north of Korean penninsula): kingdom of Balhae
Plus, I think 'Joseon Dynasty' is cooler than 'the kingdom of Joseon'.
//I know there's a thread dedicated to Civ Names suggestions, but it seemed to have been silent for some time so I'm writing it here.
