With the August update this mod does not work anymore. It entirely removes my plot tool tips when enabled.
There are other mods that do similar thingsNot having this mod REALLY hurts, the stock UI just DOES NOT tell you this very important information. Can we get an update and port to Steam please?
We have not heard from Sukritact since he was hired by Firaxis have we?
I was hoping his mod would just magically show up in the game but I guess not.
Could you perhaps name them? I have almost 40 mods (over half dead now with the latest version). There are other mods that do similar things
the base game has added most of the features from this mod, including the tooltips, tech tree, and unit stacking. the main things left are the city banner tooltips and the overbuilding calculator. there are at least two mods that provide better city banners: my Flag Corps and F1rstDan's Cool UI. nobody else has made a build calculator. i personally recommend using Detailed Map Tacks instead, to plan your city in advance.Could you perhaps name them? I loved the build calculator and it was the only reason i still used it, I hope someone will create one to replace it. Is it something you might be interested in adding?the base game has added most of the features from this mod, including the tooltips, tech tree, and unit stacking. the main things left are the city banner tooltips and the overbuilding calculator. there are at least two mods that provide better city banners: my Flag Corps and F1rstDan's Cool UI. nobody else has made a build calculator. i personally recommend using Detailed Map Tacks instead, to plan your city in advance.
The overbuilding calculator was critical to me, I always used it to weigh the cost of adding any improvements. I need to see that the 3 production is going to cost me 5 science (or whatever the case) as not all upgrades make your city better or provide what you need.the base game has added most of the features from this mod, including the tooltips, tech tree, and unit stacking. the main things left are the city banner tooltips and the overbuilding calculator. there are at least two mods that provide better city banners: my Flag Corps and F1rstDan's Cool UI. nobody else has made a build calculator. i personally recommend using Detailed Map Tacks instead, to plan your city in advance.
the city banners should not look crude if you're using Flag Corps. please make sure you're on the latest version (compatible with update 1.2.4). if you need help with it, please use its discussion thread so that we don't clutter this one.The overbuilding calculator was critical to me, I always used it to weigh the cost of adding any improvements. The banners look so crude now, I have always had the flag corps and Sukritact's, I guess I will need to try First Dan's later today.
no, because i don't use the building-placement screen for build planning, so it wouldn't be useful to me. you can't even use the screen until you have a building unlocked, and i plan out my settlements long before that, so that i can optimize layout for all of my buildings and wonders. i recommend Detailed Map Tacks for that.I loved the build calculator and it was the only reason i still used it, I hope someone will create one to replace it. I use map tacks for city and unique district placement, but i find lots of things can change from when you place tacks for buildings to when you actually place them that when it comes to buildings i'm always floating different ideas around in my head as things force a change in my strategy.no, because i don't use the building-placement screen for build planning, so it wouldn't be useful to me. you can't even use the screen until you have a building unlocked, and i plan out my settlements long before that, so that i can optimize layout for all of my buildings and wonders. i recommend Detailed Map Tacks for that.
I plan my science/production buildings and wonders with the map tacks, love them, but placing the smaller buildings I like to look at the overbuild popup to find the best place to put them.no, because i don't use the building-placement screen for build planning, so it wouldn't be useful to me. you can't even use the screen until you have a building unlocked, and i plan out my settlements long before that, so that i can optimize layout for all of my buildings and wonders. i recommend Detailed Map Tacks for that.
you are telling this to the wrong person. i don't play that way and have no plans to make a mod to support it.I plan my science/production buildings and wonders with the map tacks, love them, but placing the smaller buildings I like to look at the overbuild popup to find the best place to put them.
