May be the last of many fine years for the boat. We didn't get out nearly enough last year so come visit again before she's gone.

I would hate to not pay my respects before she's decommissioned and put away for good.. But I've got a bunch of travel for this summer already in the works. We'll see what happens, I haven't been back to Chicago since and I really enjoyed my stay.

That best described my experience with the Paradox forums... and like all abusive relationships, you can always walk away for greener pastures.

My admittedly brief experience with Paradox OT is that it's filled with both metaphorical and literal fascists. I like my echo-chamber CFC OT better.

Oh yeah, the OT there is far more right-winged. There's also way more censorship too. For instance, any discussion about Jews, Israel, Palestine, or images containing a swastika are forbidden.

Some mods and admins there also have this holier-than-thou attitude and do actually troll with their admin power.

But once again, if one stops going to their forums, they have absolutely no power over you . It's their loss too, since unlike CFC, they have much more to benefit from participation (free QA's, mods, bug-fixes), which is already dwindling.
