Pretty much.

I reckon every ethnic group has a right to self preservation and a homeland. What countries like Sweden are doing is forgoing their right as a people to have that security. Hopefully Sweden will transform itself into a Northen European Islamic State, than the rest of Europe will get a loud and impossible to ignore warning for the future.

Being a European, for example. And the fact that Europe is the continent which contributed most to, and shaped, the world as we know it.

And what makes you want Europe to adopt the culture of Muslim Africa or the culture of the Middle East ???

If they come to Europe, they should assimilate and adapt. Why do people immigrate to Europe? Because it is such a great and rich continent.

Except you're not for preserving swedish culture, you just don't want Muslim immigration. Preserving "native european culture" is different from being against immigration.

Sweden is not really my business, but I didn't say that I don't want Muslim immigration at all.

All I said is that I want Muslim immigrants to adopt European culture, values and to assimilate.

It is not insanity at all. According to some projections Muslims will be half of the population of Sweden by year 2050.

This provided that current annual rate of Muslim immigration will continue. Some Swedes are also converting to Islam.

I live in Poland and I don't like emigration from Poland, so as far as my opinion counts, you can ban Poles from entering your countries.

No. I don't see it that way at all. Immigrants anywhere are going to assimilate and adapt. To some varying degree no doubt. But assimilation is inevitable.

People come to Europe because it's significantly richer, at the moment, and they seek a better standard of living for their children and grandchildren. It's really nothing to do with it being great.

People who hate Europe and Europeans don't come to Europe.

A sizeable minority of immigrants who come to Europe, become disillusioned when they can't find work. Or their children can't find work. At a time of global economic difficulty largely caused by the rich Western banking system.

Sure, we did bad things too, but they were not worse than things done by other people, who were just less efficient in doing them.

The current stage of development of the world is mostly due to Europe.

To be honest I don't know if Sweden is on some kind of death march, but there are a few things I'd like to point out.

To my knowledge, the immigration laws hasn't changed much lately. The government (centre-right, lost the election 3 days ago) has opened up for some work immigration but otherwise the laws has not been liberalized. There certainly has not been any "opening the floodgates". When politicians point out benefits with immigration, it's probably meant as counter argument and should not be read as a push to increase immigration. In the end it's about helping people in need. The current immigration laws is probably based on some UN principle Sweden has abided to.

Keep in mind that refugee immigration, to its nature, comes in waves. There is a huge surge in the beginning which eventually slows to a trickle (depending on the cause). Sudden increase in refugee numbers doesn't mean the laws has been laxer.

Regarding "media hiding the truth" - which 2014 would mean hiding the Internet: reporting the background and birth place of any person mentioned in a news article would be ridiculous. Try it on a regular newspaper. Soccer players, artists, writers, bus drivers, all the people involved in something news worthy. Every article, every page. Great reading that would be.

Also, Sweden doesn't have the lowest birth rate in Europe. It's low, but pretty average compared to other EU countries.

But seriously - you don't know what "European culture" is because in fact it surrounds us from all sides.

European way of life - or at least some of its elements - has been adopted also by many Non-Europeans.

American culture of course also counts as European because the USA is a recent European offshoot.

Europeans settled 2 continents almost entirely - North America and Australia - and 2 more partially - Latin America and Asian part of Russia. But in North Africa, Central and South Asia they actually lost some ground.

We American Indians do have a culture, but it isn't a definable in your face kind of culture like the American one. Unlike other cultures, the main thread connecting Indians abroad to their homeland is not language or religion but Bollywood, which could be classified as a religion in its own right. Of course Bollywood is also out of touch with reality and formulaic for me to enjoy it, but my patents love it.
