How often do the turns tick by and is pitboss pretty easy to use? I think I might be interested in playing if a new game is started, what's the typical turn timer or whatever? (I clearly have no idea what I'm talking about)

@remake- Unless you dare to join the game and challenge him... yes. Generally it is customary to declare the last man standing the winner if there are no more challengers. Especially since SilCon also has the highest score. If there is some other metric you think would be better for declaring a winner... I'm all ears.

I wouldn't say I won. I just kept playing. That doesn't necessarily mean I deserve it more. Perhaps it just means the other people didn't have as much time to play as I did. And it's not guaranteed that I'd beat the AI if I kept playing.
EDIT: Didn't read the posts on this page before posting. I think I was doing quite well in that game, having two capitols quite early and this turn I would have settled two more. Barbs are seemingly everywhere, but I've been fighting them off. I'm in a good spot to win, but I don't feel like I've won yet.

Pitboss is pretty easy to use, and the point of these pitbosses is to teach AMAZONs how to use Pitboss, so not knowing how to do it is no problem. We're here to help.
The most common turn timer is 24 hours real hours. Since the Pitboss internal timer runs slower than real time, it is usually set for 22 hours, which takes 24 real hours to run through. This means you have to log in once a day to take each turn. You can miss turns and still be fine by setting up build queues and using unit automove. If you're going to be away for an extended period, you can ask for a sub and people round here are pretty good about subbing.

That's a good question. You obviously can't start teching a new tech without setting a queue, but you should theoretically still be getting beakers. Not sure if it just dumps them if you don't have something to tech.

There is some error that occurs on my comp every few days that I cannot seem to get rid of. It is this error that keeps causing the majority of the crashes of the pitboss.
On another note. I think that my Pitboss CPU may need maintenance soon... It crashes far too often. I may need to reinstall the OS to correct the problem...
. Its a very old CPU.

Game is up and running. I just tested it and was able to log-on. However, since this is now the only game running on the Pitboss CPU, you no longer have to use the port #:2057. Just use:
