I still want to plan to have the game up today, but if there are any firm additions I can certainly wait another half day or so... I am leaving town tommorow evening for the weekend though, so I want to have it up on my home CPU before I leave. I will still be able to log in and play, but not set the game up or add players, etc.

@ remake20 - If you MIGHT/Might Not have BTS installed in a few days, the game might be going already by then ... also, you still have also pick a team

@ 2metra - I am not too keen on opening/managing a seperate thread for outsiders, its just too overwhelming to keep track of, especially with the War going on in the Diplogame we are playing. You can manage/set one up though if you have the time. Meanwhile your invitees can either join AMAZON, or communicate through you, or through PM.

In all seriousness remake, I love you buddy, but we arent going down that road again... you've got to give a firm commitment to play... no "my CPU is broke" no "let the AI play for me" and no quitting. When people quit or let the AI play their turn it ruins the game for everyone else. Me, 2metra, and certainly Indiansmoke will not be quitting, so if you're playing great!... get your stuff installed and ready and no BS Either you're ready, your compy is ready, everything is good to go, or just sit this one out.

Also, sorry, now I see you said Vikings in the other thread, but before I put you down as playing... please please confirm that you actually have civ installed, your CPU works, and you won't be quitting.

@ 2metra - All those you mentioned are most welcome Especially dick76 and my old pal Indiansmoke! bobbyboy29 has already contacted me and also asked to join Team AMAZON! I told him I would ask admins about that since he was on Mavs before they went under but either way this pitboss should be excellent.

I'll get in on that. Anyway, with the new players still having to pick a civ, and so many who are not AMAZONs and probably cant join AMAZON because of the MTDG, I am rethinking 2metras suggestion to make a outside thread for the game... Also, since many still need to pick civs, there seems to be no way for me to start the game before I return from out of town on Sunday . Hopefully the game will start Monday.

Yes, it will be only a sign-up thread and once the game starts, it will be only a thread, where any issues with the server will be posted - nothing so special.

I can open such thread in the Pitboss section of the Multiplayer subforum and move the important data there.
