Well I connected to the first version of this one, and BTS is going through my firewall.

That's weird. If you connected once, then it's probably not firewall. Don't know what to tell you. Maybe someone else does.

Because the pitboss computer has an old install. Just ignore it, its fine. The pitboss computer is a different one than the one I use to play civ. So I don't keep it as up to date. I will have to reinstall at some point. I just don't have time for it right now.

I tested it again today, and I can connect, plus I can ping everyone connected to Hamachi so I am at a loss about remake20 not being able to connect.

Are there any AMAZONs that want to sub for remake20 as Boudica of Egypt?

If not then I can just set them as AI for a while until remake20 can work it out or until another AMAZON wants to take over.

EDIT: Egypt set to AI so game can continue. Any AMAZON can just login as Egypt at any time if they want to participate in this Pitboss. When you login as Egypt the game will ask you to set a new password for the civ. Once you set it, the slot will be yours

1. The AI played your civ for a couple of turns. Hopefully they couldn't mess it up too much in that short a time.
2. An * indicates that a team has already completed their turn.

Don't look down on the AI too much. It's very possible we'll see an early exit to AI-controlled units if people aren't paying attention .

I'll try to adjust my, perhaps unfair, views concerning the play of the AI.

I was more calling attention to game settings, as players who don't notice them could easily get submarined before meeting all/any players.

The AI played just fine, i just wondered if I accidently had hijacked another players game..

I am unable to play for the next 3-4 days.. Is it possible to let an AI take over my civ untill i return, so i don't fall to far behind?

If you need to leave/ go out of town/ etc., just log in and go the main menu and select "Retire." The AI will take over your Civ automatically, and you can just re-take control of the civ when you return.

The problem is my dad borrowed my computer for a trip, while i forgot bts was in the disc drive, so i cant get to play bts

You dont need the disk to play BTS, that was part of the 3.19 update... you can play without the disk now.

You dont need to PM your password, I can switch you to AI from the Administrative options.

This is a followup to note that I will be exploring the possibility of hosting a second pitboss. I will try to keep all further discussion and progress updates in this thread. If you have a question about it or you are interested in playing. please use this thread from now on.

This second pitboss will not affect the one that I am currently hosting. That pitboss will continue as normal.

I would want to play in this one when it goes up, although I am in the other one. If the spots are full (which I doubt) I'll opt out, but so long as there are enough spots open I'll take a spot in this one too.
