I like killing every thing first and leaving ivory city for last.

I sent Robi some intel that I got in email chats with one of the Piffles. I will either post it when I get home or let Robi post it.
 
Well for a start how would they have built many units at all, it is neither a food rich (for whipping) nor a hammer rich (for production city) it is probably on worker first.

what is worth considering is maybe blockading the city with our left over galleys?
 
If piffle have 10 longbowmen in the ivory city then all the better, means most of the others are empty:lol:

Also we don't need the ivory. We are building theaters which because of the dyes give us one happy face. Islam is only a few turns away and if we really wanted to both the furs and the incense are a lot closer and safer to get to.


I would like to see some longbowmen built to defend the cities, so we can free up the axes and maces being built for sentry duty. The warrior in Aloha can go north and check out the couple of dark areas there.

Apart from that i'm happy. I also took some screenies for the domestic thread.

BTW- since kuningas forgot to post the screenshot;) , i noticed in the demographics we are now 1st in both gold and production and 3rd in food

It couldn't be a land bridge, could it?

Regardless we don't need the open borders from them anyway. Like i mentioned eariler build some longbows and free up some units to go have a look at that last part of our peninsular i don't what any surprises later on.

While i think of it, should we offer to sell dye to piffle for some gold back, since they don't have anything to offer us happiness wise.
 
I think they have dropped explorer of a galley/caravel. That also means they get Navigation movement bonus soon.
 
no happiness to piffle will be better dont you think? Or should we let them then have a happiness problem once we attack.
 
I was thinking 15gpt for the dyes. We can justify the higher price due to the lack of happiness around. I guess we could be haggled down to 12 or something.

Anyway the main thing for the short term now is to upgrade and reinforce the military, it has been neglected up to now and its time to make it a priority

Go ahead and send it. I don't think we have anything to lose from it. 15gpt would be very handy and if they reject it then no harm done.

The warrior has served us well, who knows he might survive.

As for the missionary, he should go where we can build a monastary quickly and spread the faith. Don't know which city yet i would need to have a look
