Are we afraid to blame every "sacred" war on the Christians?
The two World Wars Could just be easily blamed on the Pope wanting to regain a Christian Footing in the region?
The Gulf Wars carried out by a "Christian Nation" unwilling to turn the other cheek?
Or is that too conspiratorial?
PS. The cold war was just the East and West seeing who could pray the hardest. It had nothing to do with communism trying to gain power and influence.![]()
Motives matter. Just because most of the people are of one group and most of the other people are part of another group, doesn't make the group membership in and of itself the motive. And in WWII, most of the dead were Christian. The Poles were largely Catholic, like Hitler was. As were many of the other Europeans killed.
