The 70's Classic Rock CD I bought has this on it:
But this is the one that I made, for my car:

Your 70s CD has some 80s stuff on it (Van Halen, the Bangles) and some 60s stuff too (the Rolling Stones, Righteous Brothers, etc.)

I know. Actually, I'm pretty sure Panama was written in the 70s. But yes, there is some 80s and 60s music on there. It's just supposed to be an awesome mix of good old Classic Rock.

My fav song from the 70's ? I'm not sure.
But i definetley don't see it in the poll. :p

Let me get this straight, the most requested song on the radio ever, the most played song on the radio ever, the song that has the most copies of sheet music bought for it ever, the song that stayed number one on the charts for four months and is the tenth biggest selling album of all time isnt on there?Even if you dont like "Stairway to heaven" it would be statistical suicide to not include it on "best of the seventies" album.

Probably contract issues.

Except for perhaps Kiss, my groups on there had MUCH better songs.

Supertramp--Goodbye Stranger, Take the Long Way Home, the Logical Song would have been better selections.
Jethro Tull--AQUALUNG, Locomotive Breath, or Cross-Eyed Mary
Genesis--If they added Supper's Ready, you'd lose about 6 crap songs right there.
Pink Floyd--and another 5 crap songs if they added Shine on You Crazy Diamond.

This IS the best Supertramp' song !!!

Jethro Tull--AQUALUNG, Locomotive Breath, or Cross-Eyed Mary

Quite. I mean, "Teacher" ? Rather than the almighty Aqualung or Locomotive Breath ? Weird

That song would actually be Yesterday by the Beatles, not Stairway to Heaven.

Stairway was only #1 on rock oriented formats. Overall, Yesterday was more popular and more requested.
