Honestly, this was a horrible, horrible call by remake to create a neutral joker here, with free reign to lie and insult people. At least the last time we had a joker, he roleplayed being a Sith Lord and all and didn't really get involved with screwing the Innocents.

And calling people liars is infractible too, you and Zack are getting reported the same, this is ridiculous (well, I don't really expect any infractions in actuality, you saying I'm lying is no worse than me saying your role/character is quite possibly the "troll kid joker" but you have no ground here, and you have been posting the most untrue statements.) Again, though, I don't seriously worry about any moderator involvement, the first thing they can do is talk to remake and know I'm telling the truth, and people are just calling me a liar again and again about things in the game when they are probably scum. That's to be expected

But he's gone to just as many ridiculous lengths of arguing about past games and calling people liars or stupid because of that (also see his early attacks on Krill). It's not what Jasmine would want. I'll shrug it off, if he'll just bother to let this whole thing be, I already know I'm getting permab&'d here and I've said my piece about that.

And joker roles are just too annoying, I hope remake and other GMs take note at this point.

Like ATPG, I am tired of Earthling's behavior. We need to remember that this is a game. This does not have to do with personal attributes, like age. Earthling has gone too far in almost every game he's played in.
He goes off on other players, making the game very un-enjoyable for said players. His arguments consist of giant leaps of faith and misread and/or misinterpreted text. His respect for the other players on the forum, is, sadly, very minimal.

I have not trolled you, any more than lots of other posts here have been "trolling" or "flaming." It's true I have said many times you are a joker, your role is the "troll" on the game or something, but that's part of the game. It's self-evident to everybody, you type posts like a troll or little kid, it's what you are doing to be a joker or spambot or whatever you are.

I really wish you hadn't gone into arguing about moderators, it's not necessary. And nobody ever gets infracted for stuff like this anyway, because it does reasonably fall within the game. I'll point out, for instance, this previous game where you kept insulting people, by the way. It's far more common that you do this than you must realize, I guess.

I do hate situations like this, and I'm very happy to see askthepizzaguy get WoG'd too, because a joker who cannot be stopped, can spam freely and insult people, is a poor role to have in a game. But I will point out, I've never gone out of the way to cause problems for anyone in any game, my language is far more civil than many, many posters in these games, and the only times I ever get into trouble is when people irrationally attack me, like askthepizzaguy has done all game.

Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised if his role was not a cool character like Mickey but someone like Formaldehyde, that explains a lot

You said exactly what I said you said. Without posting your complete set of goals, or additional things from remake about the game it's impossible to say exactly what relates to mafia and killers. Other than that, you have made clear your goals on something about spam.

And several times you "pretended" to "want to contact the Mafia" and "kill people" and so on. It's really clear in game terms you are not helping the Innocents. You can't call me a liar for not knowing what's actually in your role PM, but I've never lied about what you said here.

And you're a terrible player for resorting to that.

I think any reasonable person would agree with me, it takes an extremely warpred interpretation of the English language to see anything otherwise. We have the following:

1) Do you have a personal goal related to Spam and the Spam Police, and did you say this publicly?
2) Are there Spam Police Mafia, or more specifically have the game rules and other players suggested that?

If those are both "yes" then what I said is perfectly fine. Again, I don't have your role PM, I don't have Spam Police or Mafia role PMs, and I don't know what remake did with everything behind the scenes. You said you had a personal goal, that could require help from the Spam Police or Mafia. I was not lying, I don't know everything about your role, but I was not lying about what you said or trying to twist your words, and you are just wrong to say that I was.

And the many times you've "pretended to be scum" or "pretended to be a serial killer" or whatever is also attempted screwing with the Innocents.

I can either leave this note hoping you all calm down, or I could go through the past few pages and start leaving infractions, which will more then likely send at least two of you out the door for a few days.

Simply put, relax and remember that mafia games are all about lying, manipulation, and making your opponent and/or others look bad. Don't take it personally.

Are you really going to dredge up where I pointed out that your posts made no sense, and they had no discernible logic to them, and call that an insult or trolling?

Because just about everyone agreed with me then, and they will agree with me now. You post things that are your own opinions and state them as fact. You didn't make any sense in that game, and we warned you, repeatedly, to stop doing that. That's why you got lynched. I even figured you were innocent but I didn't want to have to deal you posting that way all game, and I asked you to stop, or I'd vote for you.

You didn't stop, so I did. And if I was wrong, and you weren't posting in a manner that annoyed people, you wouldn't have gotten lynched.

If you were making sense, and not lying about people, you wouldn't have gotten lynched.

These games shouldn't be a popularity contest, and that's why I didn't want to vote for you. I figured there was almost no chance of you being mafia. But your posts are long, rambling, and often distracting. They also bear no resemblance to reality, as many many many people have noted, not just me.

I also don't hold "grudges". I didn't go after you this game in particular at all, I was doing my thing as it relates to my goals. I even voted for people who had no chance of being lynched.

The previous posting of my refutation was for the benefit of people who care about the objective facts of the situation, which is that Earthling is upset that someone is calling him out for lying, after he spent half the game calling other people liars.

Then, when he insulted me personally, I was done, and needed to set the record straight.

I was not lying, and I understand he's ignoring this, but he's got some incredibly perverse standard he's trying to apply to say that I'm lying. As for the previous game, I directly told people I was an Innocent scanner, they declared I was lying, and lynched me. That's acceptable for a game, it happens, lots of things went wrong before and after that too. I can quote where people specifically said they didn't believe this, and you got all high and mighty and said "I didn't tell people I was Innocent." That game could have gone without so many insults though. But more specifically, you didn't even need to keep bringing up past games to try to discredit me.

YOU are the one who is carrying over grudges from the past and trying to make trouble in games like this.

Before this (Day 4) I don't think anyone can ever say I did anything wrong or crazy attacks on anyone, and I was just defending myself from the many votes I got today. You, in the guise of your "joker" role, have been attacking people like me, or earlier Krill, and others all game.

Mickey still isn't pleased, but I'm dead with this update at least and can hope the Innocents win.

Actually, it's you, personally, who've attacked me in three separate games to help get me lynched. I said what I said. I did not say "needing Mafia help to complete his personal goal", I never mentioned the word mafia in that context, I never said I needed their help, and nowhere does it state that the spam police are all mafia.

Oh, flaming hell! It's the walls of text that really get me.

In LotR, I knew Earthling was innocent, so the walls of text didn't bother me so much, but I was convinced that BadPlayer was guilty without scanning him, simply because of the post madness that erupted between Earthling and BadPlayer. In SW:ANH, I assassinated Earthling's character, because the walls of text were erupting between various players.

I just wish that we could have a Mafia game which doesn't resort to walls of text or OOC feuding and which doesn't hurt the eyes with spam.

There's no point fighting a catch-22 about posting, so I won't, but bolding, underlining, etc... is important to get points across. On the one hand, people demand you answer all sorts of questions. If random crazies like askthepizzaguy had the decency to send and respond to PMs, instead of demanding I post things in the thread, I wouldn't have to make long posts.
