Two different Civilization Elimination Threads have now been completed, with Siam winning the one for Vanilla civs, and the Vikings (Denmark) winning the DLC one. Now, the Top 5 from the Vanilla and the Top 3 from the DLC will face off in the FINAL ELIMINATION THREAD!

Each Civilization will start with 25 Points, and every time you vote (one time every 24 hours) you subtract 2 Points from one Civilization and give 1 to another. NO SPLITTING VOTES.

Hum, Cant say which is the best civ, but a) Vikings are certainly the coolest and b) Siam the most unexciting (subjectively of course).

None of my favourite civs made it, how ever my least favourite on the list is japan an my favourite is france

France's +2 culture from each city is massive. Easily beats Siams ability as you can get to patronage so much faster with France. Gunpowder era is ruled by their musketters which can stand up to rifles in strength for low hammer cost. (If you're using honor, which should be easy with the extra culture).

when you stack France against any of the other ones, it's not up to the task of winning.

Even in MP, go duel map France vs. each of these and France will be dead before anyone thinks about Industrial.

** Except for the Babylonian player, who'd be in Industrial while you're trying to make musketeers.
