The reason Chapelle's Show is awesome is because he hits all the racial stereotypes right on the head maybe if you're not a minority you wouldn't understand. Colbert report looks like it may or may not bomb, not really really funny but is still funny. That first epsiode with the Stone Philips interview was awesome!!

The reason I like Mencia is that his humor is based on reality from the frontlines of the 'melting pot'. You hear that sort of ethnic and racist humor every day on the street and in workplaces all over the country. I know guys like Mencia who are a million times funnier than he is, but you'll never know their names, because theyre working on loading docks, or in restaurants. But I dont expect you ivory tower types to know what Im talking about

What an interesting position I'm in. I'm in the ivory tower of all ivory towers, enrolled in a college. Yet I take the subway, where one must stab a random biker just to get through the turnstile.

I loathe Mencia. Its the same tired mexican joke over and over again, only loud and profane. It isnt smart at all. its just crass.

Chapelle can be offensive and crass sometimes, but i find his show, more often than not, hysterical. My floor just bought the first 2 seasons on DVD. C'mon...is Wayne Brady going to have to choke a *****? is that not funny?

I'd like for everyone to come to a time where we can just make jokes rather than worry about whether the person making them is a part of the group...all that isolation does breed animosity.

Well, he also makes jokes about Asians, Blacks, Whites, Native Americans, and just about every other racial/ethnic group. In fact his entire point (when he gets serious) is that you should be able to joke about it no matter who or what you are.

i thought Colbert Report was pretty funny. the "word of the day" is really funny and Colbert is always good for a laugh anyway. however, i will miss him doing This Week In God on the Daily Show.
