I want to like the Colbert Report. I have seen episoded 2 and 3. So far it's too much of the same. He needs to get up and get out of the chair a bit more and have a bit more variety. He fumbles reading his lines pretty regularly too.

The reason Chapelle's Show is awesome is because he hits all the racial stereotypes right on the head maybe if you're not a minority you wouldn't understand. Colbert report looks like it may or may not bomb, not really really funny but is still funny. That first epsiode with the Stone Philips interview was awesome!!

Oh, it's not that I don't get it (which I do) or that I'm not a minority (which I'm not), it's just that about a million other comedians crack the same jokes on the same topics that it's just not funny or fresh anymore.

From what I've seen of it it's pretty funny. It's still in it's first week though, so we'll see.

The Daily Show is still funnier though. Stewart is a leftist, but he tries to make fun of everyone fairly; and you got to laugh at yourself sometimes.

Chapelle has been doing for a while now, he's one of the originals. I can't argue that you don't find it funny but it is cuz that is stupid of me. I just think his comedy is more poignant and political than other comedians and thats why i like it. It's smart comedy
