Yeah, that's true. At start you have to deal with byzantium, then Ethiopia often declares war on you, then Turkey and Iran. And if you are not stable, also Egypt.
That is true. Muhammad's Horde of the Rashideen could probably conquer Ethiopia in ten terms. Based on scouting information, the Ethiopians have no spearmen as a basic counter to cavalry, though they do have an elephant regiment, which could be quite menacing.
Most of Ethiopia's army consists of siege equipment anyhow, mere food for cavalry. They have an army of horse archers, and a few garrisons to protect their cities.
Haroun's policies are actually not that bad, because the last couple of leaders focused heavily on either wealth or military, and al-hamdu lillah, we are a strong military power and have vast amounts of wealth. Haroun would kind of balance the Ummah a bit and keep it on a steady course.
Though I'm getting really worried, because the Seljuk invasion is imminent. It is around 900 AD right now, and I expect them to come in about 25 more turns.
I'd also like to hear from people what they think the best chapter was. IMO, I liked Alemayehu's chapter the most.
I prefer it too, but i think you should continue to crop them, because it's your style, and it's something that distinguish your story from the others, IMO.
I like the crops, mostly because I hate screenshots larger then the common width of a post, forcing us to go left and right to see everything. This makes me prefer screenshots in spoils, but that isn't nice as well, as you have to keep clicking. The crops are nice. Full screenshots should be used when you want to show lots of things. For events related to small areas it's pretty nice what you do, and it's your style, keep to it!
Going against the majority, I will continue cropping my pictures. However, I will also try to make my images so that they do not stretch past the bandwidth of the thread so that I no longer have to place my images in spoilers.
