The Democratic Caliphate.

Thanks =).

I want to organize my thread so that I can have a chapter for every story.

I have seen people make links to only a specific post in a thread. How do I do this?

If you look to the top-right of a post, there is the post number. If you click it, it takes you to the single post only. Copy the link and then do what you want with it.

Great Story Sanguiv! This Democratic Caliphate is becoming more and more interesting!

And I can't wait to see the next update. I think many here will be shocked by our cooperative management of the Caliphate.

I have updated the first post to include hyperlinks for all the chapters in chronological order.

If there was a part that you liked, you can now easily navigate to it.

1126 A.D.

This Map is still waiting for the Caliph's approval, but at least it's a good depiction of our current political borders for you readers of this great story to enjoy:

I approve.
The council of 1126 ad will conclude soon, so Council members should be sure that they agree with the stated policies

Hello all; having feverishly read the past 20 pages I would like to participate in the governance of our Caliphate! I would like a minor position with not-much responsibility pl0x :D
I am wondering, exactly what mod is depicted here? I have played whichever version of Rhy's and Fall comes with Beyond the Sword, but never this one.

@Lexicus: Would you like to have a position as our Minister of foreign affairs?

That is a position that could be filled as of now.

Sure! As I say, I haven't played this mod before so I don't want too much responsibility :crazyeye: What does the foreign minister do?

And thank you ales_ for linking here, I'm going to start up a game on that mod as soon as I get home from work!

@Lexicus

It's ok to not know the mod, I don't know it as well (I played like 3 times in a span of 2 years I think).

Everything you don't know you may ask there (that's what I do).

@Lexicus:

Basically, the Minister of Foreign Affairs is responsible for the diplomatic and trade relations the Ummah has with other civs.

For now, it is a relatively easy task to do, since there are only like five civilizations we have direct contact to, which means that there is less effort required in this job.

I have sent you an invitation. If you would like, I can make your the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

I've joined the group, and accept the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs!

Are there any more positions up for grabs?

Not that we have already created, but there is still some roles that could have a counselor.

We are expecting to incorporate Persia on this term (if they become weak enough), if not I think it won't pass next one (btw terms are 20-turns long).

Adhiraj already has stated he wants to take the responsibility of Persia, so Iraq will probably become empty.

Ethiopia has at least 7 cities, so it must generate at least one new position on the council. But Ethiopia's incorporation may take longer then Persia.

Also there isn't a Stability Advisor. This is something interesting we could use.

What would a Stability Adviser do that proposals and debates couldn't already do?
