The difference, I think, is that after WWII the Germans wanted nothing to do with Nazism. Racism is all over the US like stink on [crap]. In one American city, there's a literal, 2-meter wall built for the express purpose of separating the white neighborhood from the African-American neighborhood nearby. It wasn't Montgomery in 1863, it was Detroit in 1940.

Well I find the motivations behind things like assuming people are lying by default or denying that particular opinions can even exist, despite other people claiming to hold them, to be quite interesting. And certainly of more importance than mere minutiae.

A basic grounding in the terminology used by racists is useful for spotting them early.

Sorry, I still don't understand what a culturalist is. For the life of me I can't figure out what "Pole" you are referring to. A Polish person? And what kind of concept does a Polish person have to make them a culturalist as opposed to a Pole.
