The drawing thread

I didn't, either. I thought you didn't consider Harry potter to be worth much, from a literary point of view.

I don't think I've ever expressed a view on that. I think Harry Potter is pretty good, although the writing itself is fairly average (not notably good or notably bad). I don't think the films are very good, with the exceptions of the third and fifth (haven't seen the sixth).

Ugh, this would be the perfect thread for me, if only I owned a scanner (well I do, but it's not attached to my computer).

Welcome to my world :(

Well I shouldn't act too surprised... on deviantart, it's 99% faves and 1% comments for me... :cringe:

So, link 'em up! :D

But then he'll be able to compete with my hand-drawn political cartoons in IOT!

Anyway, to avoid spamming the topic, I present Sonic's parody in the Press Start series, Buzz Porcupine:

I decided to redo him to be more appealing and such to me. Or rather, to be more appealing to my friends.

Some in-show examples of Buzz for reference and a general idea of what I had to work with:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0MJwn4j_0s - He has to work with Plumber Pete(obvious who that's supposed to be) to try and assassinate the main villain, with loltastic results.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ig3CsVeqzYg - Parody of Sonic Unleashed.

I must have taken your opinion on the movies for an opinion on the book themselves... I can't find the original thread

Do! Do! Do!

In the midst of a sudden drawing surge - I'm high on hedgies and their music!!! :D - I finally sketched out Shadow, in his "Unleashed" form, as the leader of Los Ojos Rojos.

Moderator Action: Inappropriate image removed.
Please read the forum rules: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=422889

"Shadow, the Vessel of Vengeance, and Overlord of Los Ojos Rojos. He is the sole member of the "A Rank." This means that when he is in his "Unleashed" form(pictured), he is the tallest(12 feet) and most muscular(5.5 feet at the shoulders) and most powerful.

Shadow was obviously the founding member, and from him, all the chaos energy that powers the organization is derived, making him more or less in control of all his underlings. He recruits all who have talent, and those who don't go gurgle very quick.

Shadow's special ability is, put simply, all his Chaos powers. From weapons to regeneration to enhancement, he has trained them to suit any of his needs. This makes him a very potent foe, with his only real limit being the chaos reservoirs themselves, and for this reason, he has made it one of Los Ojos Rojos' goals to acquire the Chaos Emeralds.

I've made sure to check and make sure none of the previous offenses were present in this one, so I think it should be okay(if the Hunks thread was furry, this would fit in perfectly, I feel):

LosOjosRojosKazma-1.png

"Kazma, the Fists of Fury. He is one of two members of the "B" rank. This means that when he is in his "Unleashed" form(pictured), he is 11 feet tall, and 5 feet at the shoulders.

Kazma was the third member of Los Ojos Rojos, behind Kogenta and Shadow. Shadow's chaos energy and Kogenta's spiritual magic combined to allow Kazma to be made flesh. Shadow was also sure to inject a personality into the avatar-made-a-person, so he could play his two subordinates against eachother so they could never overthrow him.

Kazma's special talent, by merit of originally being a program, is his expertise with hacking; he can convert himself into data to mass-infect computers. As a result, he is a potent super-virus that greatly assists Los Ojos Rojos in holding the modern world hostage. He is also able to directly harness the electrical power from a grid, and thus is far more dangerous whenever close to a source of electricity; he can store a great deal of this within himself for future use.

..The above has earned him the nickname, "Energizer Bunny."

A reprieve from the muscle furs for you all. Besides muscle, there is also brainpower!

Eggfox.png

Marius Ivo Robotnik, the Eggfox, and an alter-ego of my fursona for fun purposes(usually when I'm feeling like being silly yet evil at the same time).

Etymology: Marius is the name of a famous Roman General, means "Son of the Roman God of War", and is the masculine of Maria, the best friend of Shadow. Ivo was a pseudonym given to me by a friend, due to it meaning "Little Archer"; it is also the middle/first(Depending on series) name of Dr. Robotnik himself. Robotnik fits perfectly with the Marius and Ivo parts, and so it was used. It also fits the whole Eggfox persona.

You can see the Eggfox emblem(a spoof of the Eggman emblem), and a few crude sketches of possible machines. The "Hogbot" on the lower left is obviously inspired by a certain hedgie.

You should draw non-Sonic drawings too. Be more experimental!

Oh I can draw humans; I just never find any cool enough to be worth my time. =p

I draw plenty of furs from outside Sonic though(or will, now that I'm into Crash as well). I have a few other favorite furry series on my plate, though I don't draw much fanart of them unfortunately.

You also have seen how I can branch out of the Sonic style based on all the testosterone I tend to inject furs with...

Hmm, MSpaint art! yum, yum!

The Drawing Threads somehow gets more love than the 3D Modeling Thread :p

Since I've broken my 0 postcount-idea, I'm going head on in this thread with some less-than-capable artworks.

Feast your eyes on my first abomination:

It was a try at making something I usually don't do. The background is rather weak, and I'm aware of that, since it's never really been my strongest side.
That aside, these two characters are rather dear to me. :)

And yes, it's the Õkami-style I failed at. :3

That aside:

This was inspired by some RPG-creator-program. The two main characters are the girls in the foreground while the person under the tree is some sort of average plot-device. The tower in the background is rather significant as well.

Last for now:

This one should speak for itself. If it doesn't, I wouldn't know how or if I should explain it.
The picture shows, once again, my lack of proper skill at making a decent background. :p

It's about
damn
time.

(:))

I dare you to find even one cartoon where I did anything more than a dozen lines for the background.
