The Drunk and After the Party thread and stuff.. 1

Weirddddddddd

I just complained on discord:

~2 months without drinking and I forgot two basic rules

1: eat, you dumb &$@^₩. You take adhd meds, so just because you're not hungry doesn't mean you've eaten anything.
2: tolerance is a thing
Ahahaha this is exactly what happened.

Because sometimes swilling drink all day can be fun lol

Get some of that Natural Light Summer stuff with the Pink Flamingo on it. If you can manage to get drunk on it faster than you pee it out, I'm going to be impressed.

When I started taking anti-anxiety medication the beer went alcohol-free here. 18 months, hard to believe but here we are. :)

I guess if you like the taste of alcohol & don't mind spending the $.
Same as a lot of things. You need a taste for it and money for it.

Personally, I like my tolerance because it lets me enjoy the drinks I want to drink for longer. I rarely go out to get drunk anymore, haven't done a stag do or whatever in a couple of years for obvious reasons. My "tolerance" in terms of my uni days tolerance is looooooong gone. But thankfully so is most folks' :D

Merry St. Patrick's day to you all.
(It's 00:32 on the 17th)
I've had some generic Argentinian malbec/red wine and lager from Guinness.

Guess I'm ancient now. I was at a party Saturday and still kiiiiinda hung over.

I am not sure why we are having a pissing contest over who can drink more beer.

I can volunteer as a loser in that game. Apparently I didn't feel the need to practise enough as teenager and even less later so I just don't like the taste. The perception of a person not touching beer while being far from a teetotal was 'a weirdo' 30y ago while these days people don't even ask why nevermind developing the intrigue further. The laws regarding alcohol have also changed quite a bit in that time frame.

You can get drunk on miller lite and pretending you can't is a tired meme
