The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

Azura's shrine is NW of Cheydinhal, and it's not close to the main roads. Look for people with the "Daedric shrine" topic.

And yes, Sigil stone and enchanting altars in Arcane University are the only ways. If you pay for the Wizard's tower official mod, you will find another alter inside.

Using Sigil stones you can enchant anywhere and at no cost (other than the stone)... using the enchanting alters you need to pay gold and use soulgem.

The strongest sigil stones I've found are 20% shield (found 1), and 25% chameleon (found 3).

100% chameleon breaks the game... good for closing gates though, since I'm tired of them.

Basically anything above 50% chameleon with a high sneak level breaks the game, IMO.
My last character was unstoppable with only 56% chameleon, could cast spells right in front of people, and they wouldn't even notice me in front of them.

My current character, a level 16 breton, won't be using any chameleon effects. It makes the game too easy, IMO.

Simple: You can buy several computers, install Oblivion on each of them, and play each different character on a different computer. This way, you don't have to scan through the files

Simple? :D

Finally saved up enough to buy that expensive house in Cheydinhal.. I must have spent more than $30,000 total (including the furnishings).

Some other screenshots I took:

After fighting in the arena for 3 days, I am now a Champion.

My character stats... I still wear that apron even though I have a glass cuirass, because the apron has nice enchantment:

Very nice! Congrats, Thunderfall!
I only wish I had the time to devote my life to Oblivion. I have the 360 version, and its just not as good as PC. Plus, I have a wonderful little bug that prevents me from advancing in the fighter's guild.
Plus, I don't think I could start another character, because I hate redoing quests, and I've done almost all of them with my current character.

Alchemy is the bread and butter for all characters (unless you try hard to play another style). :D My two characters, specialized in Combat and Stealth and with Alchemy as minor skill, both have Alchemy as their first master skill.

For house, I can't find my way around Cheydinhal... the buildings there are too confusing for me :p So I choose the Chorrol mansion (2nd most expensive) as my house... a short staircase and 1 loading to bedroom, 4 containers right at the entrance, and plenty of space to display things. Also the two guilds, church and shops are very closeby.

The Skingrad one is nice and comes with a maid too, but having to climb the long stairs everytime turns me off.

Nice one TF

Though I have to say, I love the skinrad house better, simply because I can display all those books that I've collected throughout the journey in the shelf at the first floor.

I wonder if anyone took the time to read all those books? My favorite one is "Immortal Blood". Which kind of explains why vampires in Cyrodiil is different than the ones in Morrowind, in addition to an twisted ending that is irony.

I'm using my second character to find books I want... I'm hunting for the 2nd book, the one after "Begger" (no, not Begger Prince).

"Begger" is found inside Cloud Ruler Temple.

Cheydinal lol ... cheap house.

My main house was for a time in Bruma, as my character is a Nord.
But I now transferred to Skingrad, which has more rooms.
In the bedroom, I have installed several mannequins to display the different type of armors (I have full sets of Ebony, Dwarven, Elven, Daedric, Mythril).
I did not collect glass, because I don't think they look so good.
But as my character is a weapon master, she relies on attack and blocking, not on armor (armor are for the unworthy ;)). So she usually wears the huntsmans clothing, or the Arena light rainment.
For weapon, my main weapon is an elven short sword, which is beautiful, and fast. I'm master of the blade, so I'm using it mainly when I'm in difficult situation.
Most of the time, I'm switching between hand to hand, bow and an elven mace, to progress in my others weapon skills.

A shop in Bravil has a nice ring called "Ring of Perfection" for sale. Any of you bought it? :) It fortifies each of your eight stats (strength, intelligence, etc) by 10 points. You do need about 11,000 Gold to buy it though.

Making money is sooooo easy once you are a master of alchemy. :D

I installed the mannequin mod today. Pretty cool. :) So far I have only bought one to wear Umbra's armor in the waterfront shack.

I always read those books about the various cities in Cyrodill. Other than that I also read several short books (under 10 pages).

My character wearing the recently acquired Savior's Hide and the Ring of Perfection:

I used the default Bard class. I rely much more on sword than magic. The only magic skills above 50 are Restoration (62), Illusion (50), Alteration (50).

I am now grand champion of the arena. :D

Oh, has anyone else tried to get the Oghma Infinium yet?

Question about Arena. That I'm grand champion, I come every week to kill the 3 minotaur lords with arrows (good Marskman practice).
Is there and end to this quest? Like "you have defeated all the minotaur in the world", or will the quest just stay there forever?

Another question. I have found "by accident" in a fort East of Anvil a mace with some markings on it. Apparently it's a kind of wedding gift. But I have no clue about the quest it is related to.

GAHHHH those STATs are aweful. (Odd numbers = XD)
You should have carefully power leveled your charactor.

My Glass weapon Collection: Most have magical enchantments

Yay Eboney Items Finally dropping:

Areana - No but it allows you to fight once per week for gold.

Mace - part of a quest to return a heriloom to a wife: There should be a farm close to the fort. (Dont sell the mace)

Did anyone complete the quest WITHOUT killing the bandit husband and returning the mace (i.e using stealth and steal) ?
