The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

Don't tell me you sold the stone, CT! :D

I would stay away from the Anvil house. It's not a good place to live.

Making potions is a good way to make money, as said above. Each potion you sell you could earn like 20 to 30 Gold profit, depending on your alchemy and mercantile skill.

Those stones looks great when you let them roll around on the floor. :D

Beware though, they are likely to be clipped into strange places... I blame the carpenters... holes in the floor!

I once lost a sigil stone in the wild, I took it out of the inventory and dropped it, but I was on a slope and it rolled down into the the high grass.

That's why I turned the grass off. I kept losing my arrows that way...

BTW, I once saw a sword slide into a hill, never to be seen again. :( (I was gonna sell it, too)

Anyway, I found 2 more gates, so maybe I can find that stone.

EDIT: n/m, I have the Sigil Stone, just I didn't know what to do with it. If you add the effect to your bow, does that also affect the arrows? If it's the arrows, is that only 1 arrow? (I'd really hate to use it on a weapon that's not as good as one I might get later...)

That's why I position my enemies away from slopes before I land the killing blow. :D

If that's not possible, I keep close and after the blow connects, I immediately move forward and activate.

 I love it when an enemy starts to SPIRAL down a huge slope! (sometimes, the ragdoll physics makes for some awkward positions...)

BTW, what's so bad about the Anvil house?

I bought me a house in Imperial City. I don't care if it's in a bad neighbourhood, I have my horse, my house, and I can settle down to the quiet life.

I think I just did the quickest death yet. Got to the part of the beginning cavern where the logs are, and pushed them, but got in the way, so I got crushed.

The first thing I thought when I left the sewers was "those mountains look nice, I wonder if I can reach them?"

Going hunting.

Alas, poor soldier, I knew him well. Or, what happens when the AI fails to follow you through a door. In this case, I was picking up an arrow, and went through a door to clear out that room. I turn around, and notice no one following me. So, I go back, look around, then go through the other room ('longer' way around - not by much). I open a door, and find him laying there.

Who says you can't carry anything when you're over-encumbered? :D

Poor little guy. He's wandered in here one day (I saw him go in), and has been there for what amounts to months in game-time.

His master's voice, perhaps?

*bad singing voice* We're going on a lion hunt! We're going on a lion hunt!

Scenery never ceases to amaze...

Spoiler :

I don't like the looks of this...

(fortunately, it cleared up when I got to the town)

The Crowning Glory of Skingrad!

My new "Frost Sword"! (I wonder how you recharge it when the time comes)

When tagging along with one of the quest NPCs, I spotted this scene:

Running of the Deers. (there was another one that lept offscreen)

Anyway, I just finished up the "Gone Fishing" quest - contracted Green Spore.

mmm... Spore.... SPORE!!! :D

It's haunted.

now you tell me :p just bought it last night

heh just kidding, I knew it was haunted :) I really needed to buy a house, it broke my heart to keep selling my Dwarf Mace :(

I really want to meet the Grey Fox, I'm getting the impression I know who he is (was before he became the Grey Fox)

I meant to ask, has anyone else noticed (in the 360 version) in Bravil of homeless people lying dead around the place? I've found two. felt well guilty about not giving them a coin. is this normal. do they just die? or is someone killing them? (not me, I swear)

Also in hte same place near the drug den (thats that drug called again Scoon or something?) I was near a dealer and I creeped up behind him and cut him down with my Elvan longsword, x6 damage, yet he was only knocked unconcious, he then proceeded to get up and raise almighty hell. why didn't he die? no matter how many times I chopped him up?

Also, outside the Drug den there are two guys, one is someone from the Imperial City and if you steal his key and go to his house you can get hundreds of gold coin in plunder. the other guy simply has a key called "Warehouse Key" is that for the Warehouse that's nextdoor to one of the shops in the Imperial City's Market District?

He's an event character. If you see a crown icon, that means they're essential to the storyline. I guess people who played Morrowind complained that they would accidently kill off a quest character.

Probably - never hurts. I haven't reached that point yet - it's my next quest.

heh, ah. I've been opening up a pure of hurt on this guy. Damn dealers

it's not part of a quest, these two guys were just standing outside the den completely wasted and I picked their pockets. one of the keys I know what it does but I'm in Anvil atm and just can't be bothered travelling over to the Imperial City to try out this key which may or may not work. it's the only place I know though that was called "Warehouse" it wasn't even called "warehouse for...." or anything like that.

I never been to Bravil.

you should go. there's a cute little Orc woman who I'm sure wants my body. Also, the castle is pretty easy to steal from. There's also at least two other ruins nearby which can offer plentiful bounty, along with some ghost fisherman dude which can be profitable too.
