The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

Yes, a TES wmmorpg would wor. BUT it would divert their attention from the good part of the series!

what do you mean
co-op quest ( like theifs guild missions where you try to accoplish the greatest heist or dark brother hood missions where you all try to kill one person as steathly as possible)
PVP
custom potions, weapons and spells should provide alot of entertainment and more gameplay

all in a 1st person perspective that would rock

You can't have items staying in one place forever though, it couldn't have as nice graphics, MMOs need a large amount of players.

Also it would mean they wouldn't be working on a singleplayer TES game for at least a few years.

Naw, mmorpg would't work very well in my opinion, the continent is just too small.

@salty mud
well I always make a nord so their home province would be cool, but the beast provinces would be cool to see as well. I would also like to have more of an option to be evil. Can't exactly kill people and get away with it here. And a destroyable enviroment, but thats just me wanting to blow stuff up with a fireball or seven

I've had thoughts about this, but in a different way. Have the ability to search for other players to fight over the net in the arena. Like, you go to a board in the arena , it contacts a server that has a list of all online people who you can fight, you can choose who you want to fight etc. It'd be a plugin. This would be awesome to the max.

As nice as that would be, Oblivion's combat is... lacking. It would be nice if there was a great dueling game like that though.

I'd like spears and crossbows to make a comeback. Perhaps we can have headless horsemen as enemies, and a silver spear will be very effective against them. :p

What, you've never heard of all the 2D and 3D fighting games? :p

Most of those are like Mortal Kombat or SOul Calibre, I meant something more like not those.

Then you haven't seen many fighting games yet. Go check out the Guilty Gear series. Only "Guilty Gear XX: Midnight Carnival #Reload" is on PC, all others are on PS2. The Guilty Gear series are the best among 2D fighting games.

I think is point was that hes not looking for a fighting game at all........

I'd like the weapons to be a bit more random. Every weapon is unique, and like in the real world their craftsmanship differs. There would be a slight difference between a silver mace and another silver mace. Some do a bit more damage than others, some are lighter and some are built to be sturdier and do not break as easily. Same thing with armors.

Speaking of which, I think its funny that Im a level 2 redguard with a full set of ebony armor and an ebony sword, so im pretty much set for the rest of the game.

So, with all these heavy armor, you can carry what, a weight of 2 loot?
A spoon, and that's all ;)?

And you are slower, and make more noise...

I usually wander around with non armor, and like to fight with an elven shortsword. Fast and elegant.

Bwahahahahaha yIm a redguard, my strenght at level two from controlled leveling is already at around 65, I have about 120 pounds of loot weight, and on top of this ive got umbra with soul trap to increase my gems values to.

Where did you get the full set of ebony armor and sword by level 2?

I went and I killed Umbra in the ruins place, you don't have to be doing the quest to kill her, and she has a full set of ebony armor and a shield and her sword, the best part is however that her sword has soul trap and its a quest item so it weighs nothing.

Wow, she's that weak? In my game I think I killed her when I was in level 15 or 20's...

This has to be a design problem then. A legendary swordswoman getting killed by a level 2 character is crazy. :crazyeye:

All charectors and creatures in the game are relative, meaning they level with you, so she isnt like a set level of eighteen or something, shes level two along with me. That and I do controlled leveling to max my stats, so pretty much, at level 2 my strenght is a high as it could possibly be.
