The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

I have most of my stats maxed out. I'm a crazy power leveler. Full set Daedric armor rocks.

Mace - part of a quest to return a heriloom to a wife: There should be a farm close to the fort. (Dont sell the mace)

Did anyone complete the quest WITHOUT killing the bandit husband and returning the mace (i.e using stealth and steal) ?

Haven't tried, but I think you can use hand to hand to knock him out... he'll probably drop it, or you can steal it while he's unconcious.

Disarm (L/R power attack) may work too... though when our characters use quest items as weapons, we cannot be disarmed :D

What is that weapon display mod called? Looks nice! :)

Also how come you can carry so much?

GAHHHH those STATs are aweful. (Odd numbers = XD)
You should have carefully power leveled your charactor.
I downloaded lots of guides from GameFaqs including a leveling guide. I never follow the guide though. What's so bad about odd numbers? :)

That's what I was wondering. Maybe nothing but enchanted feather items, or fortify strength ? I noticed the armor rating is way low too. My level 16 Breton's armor rating is in the 50 range, and that's considering he wears a black robe (can't wear curaiss/greaves with robes).

Re the display, that's the display case in the Skingrad house, if I'm not mistaken. There's a few of them in that house.

Question: Is there any merchant that has more than 1200 Gold to barter w/o any bonus from mercantile skill? 1200 is the highest I've seen so far.

$1200 is as high as it goes in unmodded Oblivion. I've heard that one of the official mods provides a merchant with something like $1500 gold, but I refuse to pay for mods piecemeal like Bethesda is doing, so I don't know which one it is.

The $1200 is per item though. I don't understand how you can sell 100 items for $1200 each to the same vendor. With the exception of the maximum amount they'll pay, they seem to have an unlimited supply of money.

Areana - No but it allows you to fight once per week for gold.

I've finally found the farm. How can you sell a quest item???

IIRC, most quest items cannot be sold or dropped. There are exceptions though, for example, the quest where you have to make a particular person kill you with a quest weapon. That quest item is droppable and sellable. I accidently sold it, and couldn't complete the quest without using the console to get the weapon back.

Iam using an emcuberance MOD (yeah its a cheat mod for buming carrying weight by x15) I dont abuse it thou mainly to carry extra loot around without having to "shuttle" to the shops.
Makes the game more "playable" (less time fiddling with my inventory).
I would recommend bumping the difficulty slider up a notch to compensat for this.

As for STATs heres why.
Compare your and mine LVL 16 charactor stats
100 INT
100 WIS
100 SPD
75 STR
85 END

UH I think because I havent done any repairing to my amour (Dont want to lvl my END until the next lvl up)

Yep Display case in Skingrade house. Certain items wont fit (They do but stuck in a weird ragdoll mode)

Well, that's much more powerful than my character when at level 16. I should try this power level for my second character, which will be a mage.

There is no way to get level bonus for Luck? I haven't boosted my luck attribute at all (still at 50, but with items equipped it's 68).

At level 26, I have only one stats at 100. I don't try to power level.
It's a RPG, so I try to roleplay... I select a "playing strategy". For instance, I dediced to become famous in the Arena, and I had decided early that my character would mainly be a sword mistress. So I thought with Renault's blade, no shield (blocking only with the blade), and disregarding armor.
With this style of play, I'm now a blade master, and I have 100 in strength, and it's the only skill I have mastered.

Not that I know of, as they're arent any skills that are based on luck.

Closest thing I have to 100 (unfortified) is Heavy armour, at 92. Long blade is...uh... 99-25...74. And my endurance is 92 as well. I'm a beast of a high elf.

Keep in mind that the amount of luck you have determines the type of loot you find in ruins/dungeons/etc.. The higher your luck, the better your chances of finding better items. I've been using fortify luck potions, spells, and equipped items prior to entering dungeons/caves/ruins/etc.. IIRC, the game determines the type of loot you'll find by your luck rating (and your character's level) prior to entering the dungeon/cave/ruin/etc..
I haven't seen any bonuses for luck, but whenever I level up, I usually will add 1 to luck.

Guys could you post more pics?

Here are some pics for you, Gelion. You don't have the game yet?

It is. :) Usually I carry two blades around, Umbra and Alkavari Sunderblade. Sometimes I also carry a staff that has shock damage 80pts on strike.

My Armorer skill reached expert level yesterday. The repair to 125% effect is very nice. My armor defense rating is now 85 and Umbra has 30+ damage. :)

Any of you mastered both Light Armor and Heavy Armor? I now have a full set of daedric armor (except a helmet) but decided to stick with Light Armor, which I am a master.
