The many questions-not-worth-their-own-thread question thread XV

1-3, 3-1, or 4-1 depending on my mood.

Yeah, I ended up doing Row 5 Column 2.

And damn, but Peragus is a creepy-ass level. Too bad the second half of the game doesn't live up to that potential. Did any of the big restoration projects ever get finished?

Yeah, I always kind of wondered that. He mentions being fed when you first meet him, so I guess maybe they let him out briefly from time to time? I dunno.

I dunno. As of three days before you wake up, you're still on the Harbinger, per the medical bay treatment request. The events on the asteroid take at least a day to spin themselves out, going by the various logs you find there. So Atton can't have been alone in there for more than two days - pretty crappy (totally intentional) but not completely crippling.

Yeah there's TSL: Restored Content Mod which is what I use, it restores pretty much everything except M-48. And you can use the M-48 addon excepet it's not compatiable with TSLRCM. Team Gizka fell through and was never heard from again.

Question: In my random musings, I started thinking about the pledge of allegiance. I am now wondering, why do they have the phrase "I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America..."? Why are we pledging to the flag? I know they later include "and to the republic for which it stands", but still, why the flag? Maybe it's symbolic somehow, but it still seems strange.

Where could I find TSLRCM?

The flag representing the nation, not its government, its political system or any of its people.

But then I would think it would be "I pledge allegiance to the nation".

Posts like that are why we need a rep button on this site. :p

That's nothing like as poetic or inspiring is it? You can't rally the people behind a world map for crying out loud!
I guess your right. Still sounds strange though.
