So in PE class today we were playing soccer, and I was being a good in the game teammate. After a while, I notice my heartbeat is REALLY pounding, and I start having shortness of breath, but not really bad. My chest doesn't hurt, but I can feel a small amount of discomfort. After my team's round was over, we all sat down I started coughing a lot. (I've had a consistent cough for a few weeks though) This isn't the first time this has happened. I can remember it happening ever since the beginning of this year. This also isn't a consistent thing. Sometimes I'll get this on a two minute run, sometimes playing soccer, but most of the time I can run for a while and feel fine. (Or any other activity)

Anyone ever heard of anything like this?

You could possibly have asthma. Though the symptoms of that are so individual specific you would definitely need to see a doctor to be sure if you thought you might.

To me the symptons you describe sound like you have been exercising beyond a comfortable limit and it's completely natural.

...Those are the symptoms of exercise, lad.

Indeed those are the symptoms of exercise. Proper exercise is where you start to worry you might wet yourself.

If I'm having a bad day and I Google up image searches of starving children to help keep my trivial problems in perspective, does that make me a bad person? I mean, wouldn't I just be using the suffering of others to make me feel good?

No, as it is not you who cause their suffering.

It would not make you a bad person, but why would any one have a desire to see others suffer? If making yourself feel good is the desired effect, then do something for another person that you know. Creating a better environment where you are will give you a longer lasting result.

Are there any short stories and novels, that are NOT romance stories, that start out with a gratuitous sex scene and still wound up having at least some success in the world of published literature?

Jacqueline Carey's Kushiel's Legacy series has more than its share of gratuitous sex. But is high fantasy otherwise.

80% of Dutch literature

You're better off going the whole hog and doing braille pornography, if that's what you're looking for

Does anyone else associate a name with a particular person and finds it weird meeting other people with the same name?

I have a good friend named Moira, and I find anyone else named Moira to be odd. Though, it might just be her personality; she's pretty one a kind.

Yes. I have a good friend named Holly, and it's always odd for me to meet other Hollys. It's like, "You don't deserve her name!"

Why does Virginia have state troopers when it's a commonwealth? Commonwealth troopers sound cooler.
Why the hell is it a commonwealth in the first place? I never knew it was a commonwealth...

Pennsylvania is the same way. It must be peer pressure.

I have heard from various sources that they found the actual SAT to be easier than the PSAT. Is this true? How can this be replicated?

I received good scores on the PSAT, btw.

Everyone I know (including me) did better on the SAT than on the PSAT. Don't know how much that's worth, but...

Really pointless, narrow question, but has been bugging me.

A friend and I can't agree with the order the announcer lists kills in UT2004. Now, I would check for myself, but it doesn't really work. Meanwhile my friend doesn't even own it.

Could anyone with the game check for me?
