Hey, I earned all my stars with hard politicking, warfare, and sneaky intrigue. By all rights, I should have been ripped apart by Day 3. Just sucks Tuna gets twice the stars wtih half the effort, probably less if the guild formed day 1.

Hey, you could call what I'm doing skilful expansion, setting limits and letting everyone fight over everything else, while I take those limits and ignore the people who are not fully coordinating around me. Always works in situations like mine. Makes me lose less ships then I have to.

If he was doing that though, wouldn't he check the loyalty's of other people as well? Like for example our whole corner of space?

True. Maybe he wants me to shift my fleets to your border and away from his side. He doesn't want me making a suicide shot into his systems?

They're already doing what is humanly possible to erase Orange Oval, thanks Gem Hound and merciary. Also Orange Square just told me he's attacking Red Circle too. I may just survive to this.

Day two report

I have built dozens of economic facilities. Tech trades continue to drain the treasury but are necessary to maintain tech advantage and developmental efficiency. I am getting manu5 in an hour from self teching as well. After that, Manu6 is merely 2 days away.

Right now, I have over 1500 ships heading for Kenny, who has only 1200 ships overall. I'm gathering almost 300 ships a day from 405 built a day, an efficiency of over 70%. The Ungathered ships are on garrison planets on various borders.

After production today, I will buy purely industry again. After that I will hunker down a bit. Kenny's stars will provide me with plenty of industry and science for a long time. The ships will me launched late evening tonight, probably after #nesdnd.

Authoritarian structure fail, I like to think a lose association of natural allies will prove more robust.

yep. Loose associations are always better. That way, you don't run into people staring at the head of state wanting to off him, since there is no head of state in loose alliances.
