Around then is when Tuna requested I give him planets. He was already well ahead of #2, and while it wasn't directly stated, it felt implied that he was going to attack me anyway should I refuse.
tl;dr: Gave up stars to avoid immediate invasion and get to keep an eye on the game.

Nah I wasn't going to invade you Tux. You were a pretty awesome neighbor all game and I couldn't bring myself to do it. I certainly wrestled with the idea, but I just couldn't do it. Instead I opted to ask you and Rav nicely for some planets and you were both kind enough to acquiesce.
