The Official CivFanatics Forum Sim City 2000 City Download thread!!!

is thier something like this for sim city 3000

Dude this game rocks Ive been playing it forever. I would put some of mine up if I were on my other computer.

Here's a city I started on Sunday while I was hiding in my bunker from the riots celebrating some team winning some football game somewhere. In this city, I attempted to build it entirely without roads, which worked well for quite a while, until I expanded to the other side of the river. At that point, everything started to go south. I experimented by placing some roads on the troublesome side of the river, and traffic immediately exploded (from 9 to 70). So, I tried various things such as improving the mixing of zones to improve the situation for a while, and then got bored with that and burned down that side of the river, leaving what was left as a ghost town.

Is it possible to get Sim City 2000 to work for Windows xp?
I loved the game, but when i install it on my new(ish) computer it just doesnt work...well.

Anyone?

Yes all you have to do is right click all aplication files on the cd or floppy (the ones ending with .exe if you don't have known extentions hidden) & then left click on properties then you'll see tabs at top click on compatibility one, then simply check the box that says run the program in compatibility mode for windows 95. once you got all those set install it like normal then go to the directory where it install & repeat process if you have old floppy version you might want to check run in 256 colors as well. hope that helps it worked for mine this way in XP.

I reinstalled SC2K yesterday, and I have completed my first city!

I call it, Subesia.

My second city, Bayside, consisting of the cities of Bayside, Bay Island, and Bay Hill all centered around a large bay.
