The "OMG! Look what happened in DoC!" Thread

A Mexican fugitive in Ethiopia. In 1589. Seems legit.

Portugal gets a Trading Company event that often leads to war with China. But China getting Aztec conquerors is very rare indeed in my experience. If it's an eastern Asian nation triggering them it's often Japan.

In the same holy city 2 religions, wow. I only had this one as france
I had only 2 catholic city - Samoa (Sydney) and in South Africa. And look like in South Africa you cannot found any religion.I was pagan entry game. Switched 1 turn before Academy. Thank to Holy Roman and Turkey war - HRE went to geography first, so i took my chance.
And it's new run (new game) not same as at picture before. So chances to found Catholicisms in Sydney not so bad)

Suddenly

And more from this game. While the whole world is admiring the wonders of electricity , the British are playing games on the PC and are ready to launch the first satellite (1882!!)
PS. If someone wanna try easiest game with Canada, i got a save. England pre-build almost whole Canada (factory and power from start), some wonders... and you need only 1 tile to build railroad, to complete 1UHV from start))
PS2. First time then Canada has build Chateau Frontenac (and 2 more wonders doesnt fit the list)

Marathon is wacky. No uncommon for you to finish the entire tree in 1950.

Retried 6 times for the Ottoman UHV, because the AI knows it and pillages the road to Constantinople, so i can't take it in 1 turn.

God danm you, Civ and your omniscient AI
