OK so Ive been looking over articles... And a city gave the same guy at least three keys to the city over a period of years. Whats the point of that?

Cacophony means "Loud confusing disagreeable sounds." What does that have to do with strobe lights and armor?

Philosophical problem of sorts. If we say that x=x, then the statement tells us nothing. However x=y does tell us something; even though that just means x=x. So how is it that we can have two statements with exactly the same meaning, yet one of them is informative and the other is not?

They are different.

Let's use twiddles instead of the equality sign.

Just means that x is a reflexive operation. Some operations aren't reflexive (e.g. x < x is false).

x~y

Means that ~ is a relational operator. They are different in meaning.
