The Soda Pop Thread

Is Coca-Cola Cherry still sold in the U.S.? I liked it a lot but I haven't seen it in Canada in forever.

Yeah I've seen Cherry Coke in Soda Machines at restaurants and vending machines at various places.

I forgot to mention, yes coke does taste best in a can. It doesn't really taste that great as a fountain drink. Dr. Pepper is probably my favorite fountain drink.

Cherry coke is good too. I prefer that in a can too. Canned soda to me tastes generally better than plastic bottles or fountain drinks. I'm not sure why that is (probably freshness). Back when I was a kid you used to be able to buy soda in glass bottles (I think they were 16 oz), but everything is in plastic now days. The glass wasn't bad, but still not as good as cans. Plastic I don't like at all.

Yea, my grandparents said "pop" to me its coke..

I love how the label tells you to physically turn the bottle inside out before opening.

Well, it comes from Down Under.

What happens if you make a mix between rootbeer and cola?

You get a bottle full of win, that's what.

So if you where getting soda at a diner and you asked the waitress for the sodas, you would ask "what kind of cokes do you have"?

No, they would say "y'all" instead of "you" but otherwise close

Abbadon is from the UK. I think a "y'all" in the UK refers to a kind of double masted sail boat.

actually the y'all was in reference to the restaurant establishment :smug: /pedantic nonsense

Yes, "y'all" is still correct there but I forgot Abaddon isn't coming at that from a Southern US perspective. Did you pick that up from New Zealand/non Britain UK relatives or what, that is interesting.

I need to take a redneck to Britain now.

So confused!
