Has anyone used Absolutism or even Religious Freedom? Some of these late civics seem kinda pointless unless you're playing for conquest or domination.
Also can someone explain to me the requirements for the Commander of the Faithful title? I can't get the title if I vassalize the holder and for some strange reason (unless its supposed to happen), the holder doesn't even need to hold on to Baghdad
.
All Safavid had to do was suicide attack Baghdad, then use up the last remaining call for jihad (the game was going to end in less than 100 turns). It didn't matter that in the next turn I, the Ottomans, took Baghdad. At the moment, I'm not sure if the Commander of the Faithful is overpowered or broken. Or it could simply be that I just suck
