little discussion today in the babe thread about what actually constitutes the denominer. for the basis of this discussion (fingers crossed) let us assume the german definition but let me start with an example:

wow.jpg

got your attention, right?

most likely not a german gal but the tattoo fits like a glove.

requirements for a genuine german "Arschgeweih" (butt antlers) are:

-located above the tailbone
-centered
-horizontal
-symmetrical

feel free to use your own definitions but please specify. are they trashy? sexy? trampy? beautiful? why is that your opinion? beacause of people who have them? because of people who have them and show them off? because of pictures like the one posted? is there a good version of it?

I had a girlfriend several years ago who had the proverbial tramp stamp, lovely girl, fit all the negative criteria you could muster (regarding the above definition of a tramp stamp) but in her case it was, imho, a genuine work of tattoo art. no, not going to post pictures.

how do we feel about them? personally, I like tattoos. so what if it is in a spot that has been trendy for a couple of years, ties have been in that same spot for decades....

Quite frankly, I'm sick of it. It's common as dirt. Makes the chick look stupid.

well, a tattoo is kinda hard to get rid off. so some people getting them and then some more tends to leave you with a lot of them. it's not like the 80's perm (also pretty common back then) where you had to shave your head and wait a couple of years to get rid off it.

but why would you say it makes you look stupid? what is the reasoning there?

I don't know what to think of it

 Not attractive.

the girl posted or the tattoo? if it is the tattoo, do you object to tattoos in general or to the infamous tramp stamp?

That particular tattoo is unattractive. I've seen girls who I think would look better without tattoos, and I've seen girls who look damn sexy cos of their tattoos. Tattoos can be very attractive; I'm not against tattoos (or piercings, died hair, etc) in general.

Making a permanent mark on the body that is pretty much the sheeple version of everyone doing it gets old fast.

I just have visions of the future elderly still with 'tramp stamp' tattoos complete with fading and hanging skin... :(

I have nothing against tattoos, but on the lower back like that, eh, yeah, no thanks.

My emotions range from neutral to mild approval.
Ultimately, I take it as a hint that a drink bought to bearer is less likely to be wasted - and that's a good thing, isn't it?

EDIT: To the crowd who complains about "unoriginality": girls who crawl out of their skin trying to be "original" are usually attempting to compensate for the fact that they are ugly as hell. As a resuly, they become not simply ugly, but ugly freaks. Originality is overrated and it is not something jewelry, tattoos or clothing can provide anyway.

I like them on the right gal. Unfortunately, about 90% of those who sport them aren't in that right gal category.

I googled tramp stamp and came across a gallery of bad ones with a Warhol-esque banana. I approve of Warhol homages anywhere on the body.

granted, it was merely an example

so just because it is trendy at one point in time it is bad, aye? isn't there a way to take a trend and make it your own?

going mental: was shakespear just a sheeple doing the same old greek plays? that tard.

As for me, tramp stamps are unattractive. I do like ladies with tattoos however. I do not know why ladies with tattoos turn me on. :dunno:

I endorse temporary tramp tattoos for sexual gratification on demand. :D

You can see some of the consequences of age, weight and cellulose here. But on a more serious note, can you imagine your grandmother with one of those? I know old folks are theoretically sexually active, but I don't really need to know...
