The Universe Game

Good news everyone! You just read this in Prof. Farnsworth's voice.

Locking orders early since I have everyone's orders in. :)

I haven't got to edit mine yet.

Craaaap. Orders unlocked then. :V

And edited. Thank you for letting me.

Orders locked again, for real this time! :p

XONES:

Looking over everyone's decisions, I find myself amused that those of you in the northern portion of the continent expanded much more conservatively, sure to keep armies at home. A wise idea, defending your homeland from possible invasion.

Of course, such paranoia was unfounded, as the world is completely peaceful and-

Oh wait. What's this?

Seems there's strife already. I knew deploying that delicious, moist cake in disputed territories wasn't a good idea.

Anyway, let's see what's on the menu:

1 incites riots in Katterland - failure.

1 sabotages SODS economy - failure.

Better luck next time, gentlemen. I suggest healthy investment in one's espionage technology so as to ensure a swift depantsu.

GM:

Update inbound

So... there is a threat to the Revolution?

We will take note of this and do whats needed.

Oh! My mistake! Old habits die hard! :p

XONES:

January 1st, 1 AX. That's Anno XONES, "Year of our Most Powerful, Most Beautiful, Most Brilliant, Most Glorious Overlord" for those who aren't aware.

Excuse the sudden splotch of black everywhere. I was wrestling that Cthulhu fellow and upon punching him out with my nonexistent appendages he shot ink everywhere. So that's what happen when you displace an Elder God.

Anyway! A brief summary of the last six months' happenings:

Atlantis has imploded. Oddly, it did not sink into the sea. That would be too expensive. Word is the inhabitants were made to sail out to sea in a fleet of ships. With holes in the bottom. I'm sure they are fine.

Attempted espionage against the SODS and Celestial Empire, nothing came of it. Hmm hmm.

In other news, I am positively -giddy!- at the prospect of states already beginning to go against eachother so early in the experiment. Why, last test, the subjects had actually created an international body with a wide range of powers to enforce peace, and then I made the building explode and framed a leading superpower for it to make things more interesting.

Regardless! You have all performed very well! Let's continue shall we?

OOC: I thought I bought only 1 army. Never the less I will presume the states are correct for now.

IC: SODS income: 35

Set 25 into industry.
Set 5 into another army.
Set 5 into spy techology.

Claim map below with all 6 claims. If I only have 2 armies then set to the different colour dark blues.

Undersea Cities

One of the benefits that came with the diverse number of species that were taken from on board the Citadel was the numerous skills and ideas that they brought together. One of the most important was the Hanar and Drell's experience in building undersea cities. During the first year of landfall only the Hanar were able to inhabit the oceans due to their aquatic nature. But the council's efforts in promoting industrial growth lead to many entrepreneurs creating companies to re-create many of the homes that were common in each species homeworlds and working to make the islands look less like a refugee camp.

Now the Citadel council passed a proposition to begin working with some of the Hanar companies in the recreation of the undersea cities with air for the other races to inhabit, already some pods were built and being put into commission. Currently most of the inhabitants are Drell who like to keep close to their Hanar masters.

Already there is a plan in place to create a large city to encourage the growth of the Citadel population. The council decided on this due to most of the coastal territory leading inland being blocked off by coastal nations to the point where expansion inland could be easily seen as aggressive expansion. The city also has the advantage of being very defendable as the only race that seemed to have any experience in undersea combat disappeared, leaving the Hanar and to a lesser extent the Drell as the most capable soldiers in undersea combat.
