"Opcioj" is options

I found the language preferences under there. Thank you. :crazyeye:

*makes plans to brutally murder sommerswerd or otherwise prove point*
How do crockpots compare in terms of energy efficiency to other methods of cooking?
Still stands!
Dinner is on me!
I hope that you don't mean it literally.

in japan it's a thing, look it up

I'm guessing Italian, but it is just a guess.

EDIT: I guessed wrong.

Does anyone have any good resources for figuring out how to set up retirement accounts and what reasonable fee structures are like?

1.4% for around half a mil

And make sure if they're on commission that they're not taking additional every time the readjust your investment mix.

Does anyone know what language this is, and what the word for either 'options' or 'preferences' is in it? I kind of messed up when installing it.

Esperanto, I think.

ilo (pl. iloj) -> "tool" in Esperanto.

opcio (pl. opcioj) = "option"
Look for "agordoj" for "preferences"

ETA: damn, didn't see someone had already answered.

I guess this is what happens when my question is the last post on the page. Thanks for the answers anyways.

Company based ones yes. I just moved some money out of our company based one to make it a bit more conservative to protect from our fuhrer I thought you were interested more in managed accounts. And if it's not company based they'll get their fees when you move your money around.

You don't want an actively managed investment account. Index funds beat them in the long run. Active management of investments just exists to siphon money away from the investor.

That's where my money was. I'm getting ready to retire so it's time to protect it. I would say this place has a good track record but over the last five years or so my cat could have done well.

Total Stock market index or perhaps a short duration bond fund. Even a money market fund is paying 2+% with little risk. If it is stocks, then income average into your choice.

Which is entirely the point. Your cat could have done as well, and would not have charged you as much to do it. So you would be a wealthier man today had you hired your cat instead.

Huh. I'm just moving the money to a managed account now. I wasn't paying high fees before. And even now my the fees are less than 1%. As I said, I'm a tad worried that Trump is going to screw it up at the last minute. And I only moved a portion in. The rest is still looking towards the long term.

I am not that sure that someone as spasmodically destructive would necessarily wait that long.

Well since I'm hopefully retiring in the next 12 months, this kind of is the last minute.
