The way I heard it described made it sound like macaroni and cheese is more important than the meat. They also did say that macaroni and cheese is the staple food of the United States.
How would you even cook macaroni and cheese on a grill? It'd fall down inside the slots.
Yet again, it's up to the Scots to invent the way out of this conundrum:

to be honest i don't think you can grill a pie either, but, what a glorious death it would be.

Well, other than the strange circular form of the pie, there is something quite similar in the greek cuisine, called "mousakas" (which admittedly doesn't sound greek and obviously isn't a greek word, but it probably wasn't an arabic or turkish traditional dish either :p ). (nor greek, for that matter)
That said, I detest it :)

Apparently, it's from the Arabic musaqqa‘a, by way of Greek, hence the English spelling.

Mac & Cheese popularity is a recent phenomenon. I would guess that popularity is tied to millennials. Prior to them, M&C was just another low cost/price dinner item of the middle class.

Yum. Those look delicious in a kind of sick, perverted way.

I saw a Kraft M&C commercial just now. The background music was Enya. Still won't get me to buy Kraft products.

Question: Earlier, I took a shower. When I turned on the water to come out of the shower, it made horrible screeching noises. Should I call the landlord?

No. Typically such noises come from air that gets trapped in the pipes and pressured by water. If it continues regularly for a week or so, then give them and let them know.

Because it could be an unfortunate rat or ferret.

Is this racist blackface?

Apparently she has been banned from EuroCosplay because of accusations of insensitivity. I am not sure, but I do not see how anyone is degraded or insulted by this. I would be interested in others views.

Whatever is on the left did a pretty good job of dressing up to look like a young woman. Seems fine to me.

That is one awesome costume.
Also, "black" certainly isn't the first thing one would naturally come to describe it as.

I agree with Kyriakos.

Well, apparently, most seem to see it as a blatant act of racism. 'cause apparently, according to them, dressing as a character whose skin color is different from your own is an act of evul racism and the only reason anyone might do it is 'cause they are evul racists! Before long, cosplay will be considered another form of blackface and treated as such. Too many people need a good whack to the head.

The title of the BBC article I link is:

Comic Con bans cosplay champion's 'blackface' entry

I'm pretty confused by it because it doesn't seem like the skin-darkening is necessary at all to cosplay the character. I play LoL myself and I didn't even know Pyke was supposed to be a black guy. Googling "Pyke cosplay" gave several results of people cosplaying the character without altering their skin tone e.g.
