TIL Cliff Racers are real. Or, well, to be more specific, there's a species called "Jan's Cliff Racers", and they're just some boring old snakes found in Asia.
 
TIL the Wichita Wingnuts, their AA baseball team, are not named the wingnuts due to Wichita's airplane industry. It turns out that Wichita actually makes 80% of the wingnuts made in America, most of which are sent to Sweden for IKEA furniture kits.

Having driven through Kansas and Missouri I don't really understand your position here. I didn't really notice any significant difference.

No, I cannot differentiate between states unless they're in several famous movies/serials or were annexed from foreign states.
