 Valka, how can you say that? V-8 is yummy in the tummy. 9/10 lolcats agree, btw!

Something about that just makes me sick. Some foods and drinks are like that - ie. Brussels sprouts. There is absolutely nothing in this universe that could make me eat those except either starvation or payment of a minimum of $1 million USD per sprout consumed (since the Canadian dollar has slipped).

You should, it's a great place to call home (discounting evil Kansas!) :)

I think he was talking about me anyway.

I don't live in the midwestern U.S.

I was claiming credit for introducing Bhsup to Snap-E-Tom. Since you don't like V-8 I wouldn't recommend it to you, but I was excited to see that it can be ordered...Bhsup is correct that it has become very rare in stores.

I never understood why the hell someone would want to put CLAMS in goddamn tomato juice. It makes 0 sense.

But you can't even taste the clams, so I really enjoy caesars.. I just don't get what the big deal about clams is, especially if you can't even taste them.

Oooh. Brussel sprouts.

I've put mine on the boil now, so they'll be ready for Christmas day.

I have that problem with dry beans. I soak them overnight then try to cook them, but they never cook right.

So I just heat up the canned baked beans on the stovetop, at least those are not rocks when they get on my plate.

And when you say steamer, you really mean pressure cooker, don't you?

And yes, I know. I use one all the time. They're especially good for cooking pulses.

True steamers are crap, imo. Unless you want to fill the house with steam.

I actually just meant a steamer.

The lid on my steamer seals pretty well, and hardly any steam escapes. It does call for a 'tilt and tap' when lifting the lid so that the condensation doesn't drip all over though.
