Time to get rid of the Monarchy?

Doing a little research on Japan, I found a poll taken in 2019 by the Mainichi Shimbun:

Keep the system as it is: 74%
Abolish the monarchy: 7%
Give the Emperor more political power: 4%

Monarchy and all forms of aristocratic hierarchy are fundamentally bad and should be abolished. What I believe Japanese people are doing right is that they keep the life of the Emperor very secret. He hardly ever adresses to his subjects, and if he does so, it's only very formally. Even though the protocol of the British monarchy requires many more public appearances, Elizabeth did that right to express very little. They are supposed to embody whole nations, so the less they talk, the less they divide.

Monarchs in representative democracies ultimately have to live their whole life as hermits.

Not strictly true. Constitutional Monarchy for example is the most stable government form iirc.
