But in a free market economy, more money is expected for more service. Any deviation from that is artificial.Your utter failure to grasp the concept is astounding. I refer you to the Menu Rik posted. *gasp* if you order a larger pizza it costs you more. These socialists are crazy.![]()
That's a contradiction in my eyes, when I compare it to LucyDuke's (?) post that the time to make a special foo-foo drink (thus service) isn't included in the sale-price. So to me that sounds that more service =/= more money. But in a free market economy, more money is expected for more service. Any deviation from that is artificial.
This concept is the same whether we are discussing service or manufacturing. Again, you're simply showing us that it is simple ignorance that inspires your objection in the first place.
About 13 to 14 dollars. And no delivery cost. Really no. Not even a tip is required, but it would be appreciated. No hidden cost - what you see is what you get.
How does a pizza cost $20?In all honesty I've never seen such an expensive pizza in my whole life.
If that's the case, why this thread?Isn't just better for the customer to choose not pay a tip? Isn't it better for the customer to have a tip system instead of being forced to pay more money?
If that's the case, why this thread?![]()
Still nowhere near 40 dollars.Uh where are you getting your exchange rates on that menu?
In Cardiff, Wales
Large Pepperoni Plus = $21.30 USD
In Wilkesboro, NC:
Large Pepperoni Lovers = $12.90 USD
Free delivery huh?
I assume she would expect a larger tip for making foo-foos than just sliding a beer to a customer. Did she state that isn't the case? That's a contradiction in my eyes, when I compare it to LucyDuke's (?) post that the time to make a special foo-foo drink (thus service) isn't included in the sale-price. You really are a troll aren't you?True. But again, it was simple ignorance--as has been proven--that was speaking from the start.
Now that that excuse has been removed, we see pretty much the same whining 17 pages later.![]()

Welcome to 'rip off Britain'. The cost of living is higher over here. If something costs you x dollars it costs us x pounds. It must be nearly a dollar for a pint of milk these days.Uh where are you getting your exchange rates on that menu?

Go to Cardiff. Check out that menu.
For me personally the main thing about ordering pizza's is not about going for the cheapest; other factors (like taste and proper service) come into play. You pay for quality. You'd still be saving $4.50 if you simply gave the $2 tip and paid the $1.50 delivery charge. (the typical amount for that kind of order).
Still I'd rather pay $15-16 for a large pizza than +$21.
Can you give me the link to the pizza-company you deliver for so I can have a look at what they offer ?
Thanks for your effort.
Tip: virtual cookie.
I have trouble finding a price-list (like I posted 2 of earlier) or like the Dutch Pizza Hut webpage. Is that me or doesn't it exist ?http://www.pizzahut.com/Menu.aspx
The delivery charge is $1.50. I get $1 and they get 50 cents (for nothing).
You can get 2 medium specialties and 2 orders of bread/cinnamon sticks for $19.99 and a 2 liter drink for $1 extra. I think this is the best deal you can get at Pizza Hut.
In that case I'll order somewhere else. (Not that you'd deliver to my home anyway. Would be cool though, free delivery to the Netherlands. If you'd do that you'll get a 45% tip, since that is far above expected service.Great. You get a cold cheese wad that I used as a spittoon while I drove around delivering other people's pizza while I was supposed to have delivered your first.![]()

lolz. All this insistence that the US way provides better customer service and you fail when I look at the menu and can't see how much my meal is going to cost.
