my aim is kingemu3rd ,you know their is a thread that you could have checked to get my aim, its stickied and everything.

USa was one of the primary reasons, if not the biggest. I don't bother to read through 7 pages of posts, and I checked your info, AIM wasn't listed.

Nope!

What about the Ludendorff Offensive of April 1918? That came very close to taking Paris, and with Paris in German hands, the war would have ended, British blockade notwithstanding. The Americans under Black Jack just "happened" to finish training in-country right then and decided to lend a hand or million.

Oh, btw, thank you Warman!

That's what I was thinking off. If there had been no American reinforcements, their offensive would had probably captured paris.

Thank you warman

Here 's the continuation thread by the way....

thank you warman

American involvment in WW1 was brilliantly timed. Just as the allies stemmed the advanced and began their counter attacks teh americans got here in any sort of force. And of course being the glory hunters they are set out to warp history to their favour (not mening to be offensive to americans btw just a generalisation that can be noted throughout their history :))

that offensive happened because USA was joining the war, if USA hadnt joined in they wouldnt have bothered and that offensive failed not because of the superhuman americans who destroyed all who dare oppose them, but because the Germans ran out of steam and morale was terrible
I didn't say that the Americans stopped the Germans, only that they helped lead parts of the counterattack, helped restore morale to the exhausted French and British who had been fighting for years, and helped regain air superiority over the Western Front (especially after the Red Baron was downed, and the Lafayette Escadrille was integrated into American air).

The Ludendorff Offensive was mainly from troops transferred from the East after Lenin signed the treaty of Brest-Litovsk. It would have happened even if the Americans hadn't gotten there. The offensive took place a year after America joined the war, and American units started ground combat after the Offensive stopped, with the Army 1st Division attacking at Cantigny. Basically, the Offensive was stopped by morale and supply problems, as well as the staunch resistance of Brit and French veterans, but if those problems hadn't occurred, the Americans would have been able to stop them anyway.
