HOW TO CREATE A SIMPLE SPOILER

I seen that, many user, questions that, to how to create a spoiler. I created a very small tutorial to learn, how to create a spoiler.

1. step:
Find the thread, and go to the bottom of the screen, and find this:
View attachment spoiler_1.bmp

Click, "Go Advanced".

2.step:
You seen something like this:
View attachment spoiler_2.bmp

Click to that button, what is red circled in my picture, and then a text shown up in the box in the center of the screen. That is your spoiler tag.

3.step:
See the picture below.
View attachment spoiler_3.bmp

Write that text what you want to spoiler between the [SPOILER] and [/SPOILER] tags.

4.step:
Click to "Submit Reply" button. (See below.)

And voilá! Spoiler created!

HOW TO CREATE "SPOILERED SPOILERS"

The first step is the same as the simple spoiler.

2. step:
Click to the button (the same as the simple spoiler), then click again that button, and again, again. So we want to create a spoiler, but with other, "child" spoilers.

And write something text into that part of that chaotic section, what is highlighted with red, in my screenshot, but DO NOT delete those tags, what are circled. Only that part, what is between the opener tags and closer tags.
In spoilered spoilers, you need to write the text between the opener tags. This will result a nice spoiler. If not, your spoiler is ugly, or doesn't shown up!

3. step: Submit reply.

Voilá! Here is the spoilered spoiler:

You?

Teacher, teacher! My words are showed in the wrong order! How do I correct this?

I wrote it like this:
Spoiler :
Spoiler :
Spoiler :
Spoiler :
Spoiler :
Spoiler :
Spoiler :
Can't.[/ spoiler] Stop.[/ spoiler] Pressing.[/ spoiler] Spoilered.[/ spoiler] Spoiler.[/ spoiler]Can[/ spoiler]You?[/ spoiler]

I'm seen the code, the problem is easy.

This is your code:
Spoiler :
Spoiler :
Spoiler :
Spoiler :
Spoiler :
Spoiler :
Spoiler :
Can't.[/ spoiler] Stop.[/ spoiler] Pressing.[/ spoiler] Spoilered.[/ spoiler] Spoiler.[/ spoiler]Can[/ spoiler]You?[/ spoiler]

But I say, the good code is that, when you write the text between those tags, where you don't find any "/" character.

So, you need to write in this position:
Spoiler :
Can't.
Spoiler :
Stop.
Spoiler :
Pressing.
Spoiler :
Spoilered.
Spoiler :
Spoiler.
Spoiler :
Can
Spoiler :
You?[/ spoiler] [/ spoiler] [/ spoiler][/ spoiler] [/ spoiler][/ spoiler][/ spoiler]

Aha :goodjob:

[spoiler]halp y is it not working[/spoiler]

@ori: Spam? What kind of spam? We isn't :):):):)ing.
This is a tut for spoiler, so please ori tolerate spoilering.

Thank you.

@Virote_Considon: The problem is that, you didn't write:
Spoiler :
and your text, then [/SPOILER ] to work.

@Dachs: I don't know. You can try to write the tags with big letters.

Dachs used the [plain][/plain] tags to prevent the [spoiler][/spoiler] tags from being parsed - he is just teasing you...

What's a tag?

you can use [plain][/plain] to keep vbulletin (this forum's software) from parsing any code you are using - so that it is displayed as text and not as whatever it does - see the spoiler tags above. Another example: [plain]:band:[/plain] ensures that the :band: emoticon is not used - but rather that the code for it is displayed: :band:

Ah, makes sense. Thanks ori!

Awesome!!! So, if I did this:
Spoiler :
:p
, then you shouldn't be able to see any spoiler, right???

:crazyeye:

:dunno:
