+1 You can easily build a very early army of brutes and take out your closest neighbor before the classical age.

-2 Very situational. Relies upon luck and map generation.

America-Just not that good, I think we can all agree on that. Only good for the first couple turns.

Greece-Great UA, especially when you have Patronage.

Question: Can we vote for ones we've already voted for on another day?

German UA is not that good -25% unit manitacne is ok but getting barbs is only fun and useless
Think Ottomans UA is quite better

Spain: It can slightly help if you're really lucky.

In what way is the Ottoman UA better?
the AI wouldn't know how to use their navy if you gave them 3 free naval units.
There is nothing to defend yourself against.
The Ottomans are a great civ, but it is not because of their UA.
It may be a 67% discount, but it is useless if you are going against a civ with little coastline or a Pangea map.
Welcome to the forums by the way :goodjob:

Incas UA is just great. Decrease in road maintenance is huge and double hill movement is useful in scouting and war alike.

Arabias UA is just crappy. Extra gold from a trade route is nothing and oil is not that useful resource as people think.

Aztecs: Simply a very useful UA with great synergy with its UU. Despite the fact that both bonusses are combat focused, you are not forced into a certain playstyle. I've won all kinds of victories with the Aztecs.

China: Don't get me wrong, I like China, though mostly for the paper makers. I feel its UA is underwhelming. Extra GG do nothing except give you more golden ages. And the bonus to combat isn't that huge anyway.

India's UA is the single best happiness boost in the game. As long as your cities are above size 6, which most puppets are late game, you can conquer to your hearts desire.

While the aztec ability rewards you for playing a certain way (which can be a good way of playing), the Iroquois ability tempts you with a reward for very suboptimal play. Forests don't often become opart of your cultural borders, so it almost demands tradition, and even then, are you going to remove roads that were once needed, but now that you gained a forest are no longer necessary (wasting worker turns in the process)? Are you going to keep roads for ease of movement because the forest takes the long way round? Are you going to buy forest tiles? What is the return on investment on that? Usually 150 turns... so, really?

Songhai: Doesn't really fit the civ that well and it's trying to be two things at once.
Rome: It's simple: Build a huge city, building HG, then spam mines and workshops and stuff.

Japan's bonus is useful on any map you play on with all units.

Mongolia's bonus is aim mostly at city-states, which it's bad if you conquer them.
