UK CFC Meet up?

Yeah, but I spell mine differently.
Oh....but on second thought what does that matter? Phonetically it's the same so Verne or Gem for you. :p

and did I say one more month

Saturday before Christmas on Oxford street? *Shakes head*

Well I won't be there, but I can recommend Waxy O'Connors in the evening though it will be packed, and if you're having a big night out, turn left on Wardour Street and head into Soho.
Can't gaurantee you'll come out again though ;)

Waxy O'Connor's is a brilliant place! Good suggestion. And I'm quite familiar with Soho so I'm sure I will get them out unscathed, although that depends a lot on whether Noncon wears a skirt or not. This Soho guys are just sooo excitable darling.

Waxy O'Connor's it is.

Yum.

Can we skip some of the shopping stuff? I'd prefer to send Holly on a mission Friday instead.

Hey Whomp, if you aren't down with the shopping expedition and watery Starbucks coffee, then I'm all in for lots of

whilst we wait.

@ Rik: That's amazing news!! So I take it you're coming up from Bristol (it's only about 2 hrs by train) to join Whomp and myself?

Well I'll be happy to keep a chair warm in a lovely London pub for you.

(Even the mods have trouble with the double posting. )

The meet is a month from today!

Also, for the Pub that we go to, it should be one with a late liscence!

Well, saying Comrade Davo, Stormbind, and noncon over and over would likely end up with the Anti-terror squad of the Met on us.

EDIT: Forgot, WHSmiths don't give time off near Christmas, so I won't make it. Have fun!
I had an interview/recruitment evening at WHSmiths the other day. I am waiting for them to get back to me. I don't want to work saturdays though, so if I do get it I will be fine anyways:)

I might.
I have a wedding the Sunday (which is of course the reason I'm in England). Is it only 2 hours by train ? Have to consider it then. I don't think I have anything scheduled for that Saturday yet.
Well, it takes me about an hour and 15 mins from Bath to get to London, and Bristol is about 15 mins away on the train, so it's a pretty quick journey. It is a very quick route.

And they serve beer on that train too :D

Good luck with the interview CD! :goodjob:

OK Ram we are done and done on that. I would like to cruise some of the museums but shopping?....I will focus Holly's shopping excursions to Thursday and Friday.
@Rik I would ask Holly if you could stay with us but I'm afraid for our cultural borders. :D

Where would lunch and dinner be? I am not fond of the national chains (i.e. Starbucks, Burger King, and their ilk) and the last time I bought Chinese in the city, the food was not piping hot! :(

Me niether, I hate those chains, the food is terriable, plus i'm a veggie and I don't trust them.

Chinese food I do like!

No "mur-i-can" junk food please. Indian, Chinese or good sushi works for me. I think we're eating at Nobu Friday.

In Bath? I may be tranfering there, depends where I end up for university (and whether they'll let me transfer)
