Unique Dawn of Man image

Nope.

Why? Doesn't seem hard to implement.

Consistent quality and style.

Which, if I'm picking up the euphemism correctly, means Leo's work only.

Am I close?

I dare to predict the answer will be no, otherwise Leoreth would create all his units himself.
But he has a point, that some images represent one style, say photography, the other can look like classical art, and yet the other look more like an illustration in the book. I am not even mentioning resolution and original size type of things. The whole feature bound together in same mod look eclectic, like leaderheads from 5 different Civilizations in the same game.

I know not all images are in the same style. I'm trying to get all images in the same styles, but I'm limited to the images I can find. For some civs I can't find images in the style I want, so I'm forced to used other images.

I know, no criticism, I'm just not comfortable with putting it into the main mod at this stage.

Was my original Hagia Sophia picture alright? I can probably find another one if it isn't, but IMO that's the best one I've seen in all of my searching.

This looks great, but I have no idea where I'm meant to be unzipping this. I don't have a "Dawn of Man" folder anywhere in the DoC files... am I being stupid?

Oops, my bad. It should be the main folder of DoC. Changed the OP.

Any further progress? If it becomes good enough it is a fine addition to the main mod.

I just have to bump this little pearl. One thing that is truly nice with SoI is the added artwork. DoC has tons of nice features but lacks a little polish to represent all the nice work "under the hood".

I think that in this case (for a starting image) putting an encouraging text and picture in one box is an excellent design decision. It condenses information which allows for rapid progression into the game (for veteran players).
